Default Everything Happens for a Reason

So, we got a refund from switching our car ins the beginning of this month, we got a refund a couple weeks ago from an overage on our escrow account,
a couple days after that, our utility bill had a credit on it from a deposit when we first bought our house a year ago and about a week after that I got fired from my job! Then, yesterday I got AF. Can you say weird timing for everything to happen in the same month, like everything was meant to be...I mean I don't like that we aren't preggo, but it seems to be okay at the moment since I don't have a job. Luckily, I have ins through hubby and we have enough saved for us to be financially comfy for a few months, and my mom is flying me to WA to help her move, since I don't have a job I have to be at! This has just been weird...but I am thankful for this odd series of events.

oh and right now i am volunteering at my husbands school and his boss said he is opening an admin assistant position that he thinks I would be perfect for...fingers crossed for that and then maybe we will be back at TTC, we'll see what October brings

That is crazy! I hope you get that job and get back to TTC in a hurry! You must have better luck than I do though, because the most inconvenient time is exactly when I would have got pg!

Ditto that! I found out I was pg with DS1 the same day I got laid off! Can you say emotional wreck lol?

It would be so great if you got that job at DHs work, fingers crossed for you and KUP.

I feel like if you are paying enough attention, the path you are meant to take is clear. It's best to just go with the flow and not fight to hard against the things that seem to suck at first (like losing your job!) Usually it all works out for the best, I think. I love it when things just fall into place. We recently moved to VT from CA, and had a lot of things not quite work out the way I imagined (couldn't find a job for myself, buying a house didn't work out), but it made room for better things to happen that I couldn't have foreseen. Good luck with everything!

I thought that might have happend, but I was so relieved and a little sad that I wasn't preggo. We tried everything this month to dtd at the right time, but I know when it's meant to be it will be...and the job at his work would be great, it's a prep school and the students are so well behaved, I will keep you all posted.

Wow! Like you and some PPs, I agree that sometimes life goes in unexpected directions, but it often turns out there is a very good reason. I call it listening to those little "hints and nudges."

Hopefully the job will work out, and you'll have your BFP really soon. It WILL happen when it is supposed to.

Gosh that's crazy! What a crazy series of events! I agree that sometimes things are just meant to be. I'm the type of person who tries to force things even if they clearly aren't going to work but I'm learning with TTC that I just need to relax and let things happen a little more so I'm trying to step back a bit and breathe. It sounds like that job would be wonderful! I'm a substitute right now and I love it. I love working in a school! I hope you get the job and that you're back to TTC soon! KUP!

I think also that in retrospect, things do all work out the way they should, even if you don't understand it at the time.

    Good luck!
