I am not new to preg.org but I am new to this side of it. I was a member of the February/March 2011 board. I have a beautiful 10.5 month old baby boy - Jack!!!

It took us 7 years to conceive DS I charted and checked my temp many times over that period of time. We decided that using science was not for us and that we would let it happen naturally and if it did then great if not we would explore other ways to create our family. Finally one day the moons aligned (LOL) and he was conceived!! It was during a time that we were not really trying I had just taken a promotion at work and we were exploring that adoption process.

I would love to have another baby right away as I am not sure how long it will take to conceive another one.....so currently we are NTNP.

I am hoping that I am pregnant this month.....my cycle has been wonky PP and I had yet to start charting....but I do feel very 'off' the last few days and even though I am still BF (not exclusively) my breasts have been feeling different.......I did not recognize early symptoms in my last pregnancy as I was not looking for them......so I guess we will see ....

Welcome! It took us 3 years to conceive DS. As soon as my cycle came back we were NTNP, this month is the first of TTC though. I'm not personally ready to chart full up because there's a lot of bad memories with it. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get lucky ASAP!

Welcome back, Hope your stay is short and sweet with a BFP this round for you. It took me 7 years to conceive my second Son with my ex husband. Carlie was a none trying to conceive just let it happen if it happens baby. My fiance and I have been unprotected for 4 years, but started the charting this month...

I can officially test on Wednesday, but may give it a couple of extra days just to be sure. I HATE getting negatives.... but at the same time I don't know if I can wait that long...LOL

If this is not it for me this time it's great to have such a supportive group of ladies...thank you.

Good luck to you all!!

Welcome to this part of the boards! I've been told that it's often easier to get pregnant after a successful pregnancy. I'm hoping that's true because we had fertility issues the first time. Hope you get a BFP soon!

Welcome! Just wanted to let you know from my experience, while I was still nursing DD, I did conceive my son. However, I struggled for months with a short luteal phase (most likely because of the nursing) before I got pregnant.

I had Kendall in Oct. 2006, started my cycle back at 9 months PP (July 2007). I got pregnant with Quentin in July 2008. So, it took a whole year. Kendall nursed throughout my whole pregnancy -- but, at the time I got pregnant was only nursing 2-3 times a day on average.

Once my cycles started back, they were really wacky. Long, inconsistent cycle lengths and a short luteal phase. I was temping and using a Clear Blue Fertility monitor; if I hadn't been temping/charting, I would never have realized that my luteal phase was impacted. It helped to "know" even though there was little I could do about it! It at least kept me from being too discouraged.

Hope this helps!
