Thread: Help! Which one is it? possible TMI and a bit long

a little background so you don't think I'm completely stupid and nuts...

So with my first two I didn't really pay attention to what was going on. We would have sex with no real schedule or care. I didn't track my periods or notice anything (that I remember at least). This time we thought we'd try a few wives' tales for getting a girl. I haven't had regular cycles yet (breastfeeding screws me up for a while with that) so I'm never sure when I'm supposed to get one but the last few have tended to sync up with my bff and her last one was the begining of the month (I know I haven't had one since the middle of June (probably the beginning of June but again this isn't abnormal for me). I have no reason to believe I was pregnant before like a week or two ago (no sex for me in June/early July).

I started tracking stuff on my new ap (womens log) on the 8th of July. I've done a few pee on ovulation things (just to see if I could figure out where I was)... last two or three were faint (so negative) and that's assuming I was reading it right.

so we bd on 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th and 16th... More than I've gotten in a while... last night we had some bleeding (I just figured it was a little raw or stretched my stitches/scar a bit far (I had a minor tear with my youngest VBAC in Jan of 11 so totally healed but again we don't dtd often so...).

So there was a little blood last night (maybe a couple spots worth... He didn't notice when he washed up and there was just a little red on on the toilet paper)... then nothing until after I worked out this morning (been about 4-5 days since I hit the gym) and again maybe a tiny amount (a spot on the tampon after 2 hours and it was bright red)....

SO.... If you've made it this far I'm sure you now know more than you EVER wanted but my question is... period, implant bleeding or weird micro tear or something like that... Just trying to figure out if I should be bummed (period), mildly excited (implant) or "hmmm" (weird cut)...

Thoughts??

Hmm, so did you ever get a positive opk? If so, what day? And what Cycle day or dpo are you on?

Haven't got a clue.... I only started with the opk stuff 2-3 days ago and only been trying a weekish (since the 8th)... Just don't usually spot or bleed when not a full on period so wondering what's up (and hopeful )... No stressing out just being killed by curiosity since I never noticed/pai attention in my other two pregnancies (all o Whig happened in the first 1-3 months of trying...

But what cycle day are you on or what was the first day of your last period? Middle of June you said...but it sounds like you aren't expecting AF...so you might have ovulated and just missed your lh surge like the day before you started opks and got pregnant and are having implantation bleeding. Or maybe its a tear...sounds like a lot of blood to be a tear though.

Could also be the start of your period since you aren't having regular cycles.

Not sure, our bodies our weird sometimes. Have you tested? If you got pregnant on those dates you mentioned above, you might can test soon, maybe tomorrow if you caught the eggie on the 8th. Hope you get your answer soon.

No idea what day as I'm irregular as all heck right now (still producing milk from when youngest weaned 4 months ago)... Also I've only been at this since the 8th and opk for a couple days... I fix the amount of blood (it really was miniscule)... I fmued a pg test this morning but it was - (not that I was expecting a true result but just cause I happened to have one handy (I tend to take 5-10 when its + and continue to check often after to "make sure I'm still +"... I'm one of those people.

I wish I could be more helpful but I have no idea. This is TTC #1 for me, so I am unsure of exactly what happens when breastfeeding is a factor. It is hard to say with all the irregularity to your cycles. Unfortunetly, I think you have to wait. Just keep track of what is going on. Use fertility friend charting...or whatever is your favorite. I would keep with the OPKs. You may have passed ovulation or right before it. Bleeding can really occur for so many reasons. Wish I had more helpful advice. KUP on whats going on!
