Thread: Holiday traditions?

With the holidays coming I thought I'd ask what everyone's favorite Christmas/Holiday tradition is. Anything you did as a child that you intend to continue with your own?

Two traditions that we've continued (will probably add more as our DS gets older): having a real tree in the house and going to midnight mass on Christmas Eve.

There's nothing like the smell of a real tree at Christmas we go out and cut our own at a U - Cut tree farm, DD is old enough now she wants to actually help DH with the cutting so this might be an interesting year (think we might get a 2 sided saw so she can hold one end and feel like she's doing something).
DD and I also bake fresh cookies to put out for Santa on Christmas eve.
A new tradition that started last year (first year DH and I spent Christmas together) we go to his godmother's house for Christmas Brunch, tons of friends and family around!

We like to play board games on Christmas Eve! We gather around the dining room table in our comfy clothes with munchy food, and have a good time!
