Default HUGE temp spike - mis-temp?

I had the biggest temp spike ever today - at first I read it a degree lower than it was, then re-temped and realized my mistake. I then googled fever temperatures because the jump was so great I was sure that's what it was!

I temp vaginally in Celsius and am usually around 36.35-36.40. When I spike after o'ing it's usually around 36.60. Today it was 37.19!

I'm wondering if it was a mis temp though a I've never jumped THAT much. I guess I'll have a better idea after tomorrow's temp.

Anyone else ever jump that much?

No I haven't, but I'm very curious to find out why that happened

What did it say about fever temps?

I am one of those horrible people from the US that has noooo idea what the conversion rate for F to C (or vice versa) is. But, I googled it. IT does look like quite a jump! I haven't kept up with temping in so long, but looking at my old charts I've never had a jump that big (or even half that big, for that matter). I'll be interested to see what your temp does tomorrow (well, today...It's already 4am...)

It was 36.9 today - so still higher than a normal jump but consistent with yesterday. More wackiness I suppose!

So 3 days of increased temps, must be legit. It's funny, for so long my cycles were short and a bit wonky (ie temp spikes weren't that noticeable) but now they are longer and temp increases are more defined - something has changed for sure (maybe for the good??) fingers crossed!
