Default Inconsistent cycles are killing me

My last cycle was 23 days. I o'd on day 9. I'm now on CD 11 and there is no sign of o, based on the OPK. I have been questioning the cheaper online ones, so I went out today and bought some more expensive ones (secretively, DH would think i've lost my mind again!) and peed on both of them at the same time. Both totally negative - I mean barely a smidge of a line.

Last month was definitely short, and I typically o on CD 13, but when I get short cycle curve balls (or long ones for that matter), it frustrates the heck out of me! I've been using the opk's since CD 8 this time!

I'm trying not to over analyze, and stay relaxed, but I'm just so afraid of missing that key date again that I'm questioning every little thing! Arg!

    Ok, vent over

I'm so sorry Julie. I know sometimes we need to vent.

But I'm also hoping that everything works out this cycle for you.
And that you can relax and get your +OPK and catch the eggy.

    (((Ovulation vibes))) your way!

I've had short cycles with both my kids that through curve balls and totally got me wondering, but it evens out. I know I know, easier said then done, but just be patient. You have a few more days to go to O

Regardless of 'cheap' or ' expensive' they all have to meet guidelines to be on market, even the dollar store tests work. Or they would be illegal to have on shelves.
I know going through this is stressful. Been there done that but it's just a bump, you will get back in line shortly.

    Keep us posted julie
    Good luck
Vent away, we ALL do. Trust me

Well my temp increase a bit today, but opk is not quite positive - test line is lighter than control line. Again I feel like I'm getting mixed signals. I told DH that we just have to do a lot of BD'ing

I used that line on my DH but I feel like it's turning into a chore/job

I've been trying to make things different. Trying to not put my Fustration onto DH.
    How's everyone else's DH's?

I'm sorry you are having unpredictable cycles. have the opposite problem of long cycles. It is very hard to DTD on the correct days when O is so hard to predict whether early or late.

My DH is working long hours and studying at night to getting him to DTD is hard sometimes but we agreed when we started trying that I would not "make him have sex" or "tell him its his job." He is afraid it would ruin sex and make it too much like work instead of fun. I understand his logic so I try my best and just do other things so he wants sex. Last night he told me no when I asked teasingly if he was going to come to bed early enough for sex but I knew that planting the idea that I was waiting in our bed for him would help and it did.
