    Default Introducing myself

Well, I thought I would introduce myself. I've gone through 2 pregnancies on this site and enjoyed sharing them with my "group", starting with uploading the always exciting POAS pictures! My last child was born 3 years ago, and we knew..well we thought...we were done. So my husband got "fixed". Well here we are, in my advanced maternal age of 38 going on 39 and we've decided to start trying for our third. He will be get "unfixed" at the end of October. We actually won't be trying until January but I wanted to join this group and get to know everyone I'll be hopefully going on this journey with!

    Here we go!!

Hi there! How exciting to be trying again! I've got my fingers crossed for you guys!

I personally know it's possible to get preggers again after a reversal. I just had my tubes untied.
This is very exciting and I can't wait to hear more!

Thanks for the replies! I feel so boring. I can't figure out how to make a signature or upload a picture. I'll work on it!

Hi! Welcome. There are some guides about uploading pictures/signatures. Let us know how hubby's surgery goes.

Photobucket.com is what I use to upload my photos and I copy/paste the IMG code into a post or my siggy.

To edit your siggy, go all the way up to the top of this page where it says settings, click on it. Look to the left side of the page and you'll see a list of things you can edit. One of which says edit signature.

So excited!! One month from today my poor hubby goes in for his reversal. The confusing part is, how long you have to wait be for "trying". Obviously he needs to be healed, and comfortable. Everything I read online varies from 2 weeks to 1 month. And even then, it could take a year to get pregnant. We have 2 kids, 5 and 3, and with each got pregnant on our first tries. (the first month, preg the next) So our expectations are high because of that. Changing our mindset is going to be difficult based on our past experience AND the fact that I'm now 38 about to be 39.

I've started my folic acid and some vitamins. I even had a pre-pregnancy consultation with my OB last week. She says she has sees no issues with us trying to have a third, although she commends us for wanting 3 kids! LOL I also talked to her about do a genetic screening. She said it was entirely up to us to test for SMA and Cystic Fibrosis. I haven't decided on that yet.

Anyway, that's my update. Nothing too exciting to report... I hate waiting!!!
