Default Introducing myself & First Month Trying!

    Hello ladies!
My name is Marissa, I'm a newly wed, I was just married on November 26 this past fall. My husband and I are deciding to start for our family now! We always knew we wanted to have a baby sooner than later in our marriage. I'm 26 and he is 43. He's a healthy man and I'm hoping his age does not present difficulty for us - also - another thing that worries me is that I have a history of an eating disorder, though currently recovered, but it has causes such an irregular cycle (w/ stress also causing me irregularities), so I'm already encountering an issue...

It may just be me being paranoid - but I've been taking the ovulation tests and they are ALL negative. I've been charting for over a year on mycycle.com (just to keep track of my period, but now it really helps with TTC); it definitely does not coincide with each other, I haven't tried taking my temprature though...

So as of now, according to my charting - my window of conception is over, but I have yet to see a positive ovulation test

AF is due to come March 11, and I have a pre-conception visit for my OBGYN on March 5 (i made the appointment and then we decided to start even earlier than originally planned)... so i guess for right now there isn't anything I can do but wait...

i've been experiencing those SLIGHT "symptoms" that can be PMS (especially since i'm 11 days away from AF); example; my sense of smell is heightened (but always is before period), crying at the drop of hat (again pms) & tonight my boobs are a bit sore. My sister just had her first daughter 2 weeks ago so i keep asking her 'did you feel like this???' and she says "yes" she said she felt like she had PMS for 2 weeks and then it just never came. she is giving me her St. Gerard pendant next time i see her so i can wear it for baby blessings.

hope to chat and make friends on here <3
    much love

Hi Marissa! Welcome to the board and congratulations on your recent wedding! I hope you get your BFP sooner on your journey to parenthood rather than later!

    Hi Marissa,
Welcome! It sounds like you are doing everything right. Do you have a link for your chart? I am not an expert, but there are many people on here who are. They really can help you out and see what they think about you ovulating. Glad you are getting in with your OB to get things started out on the right foot. Let us know how that appt goes.

thank you all for the warm welcomes!!!
my charting is on mycycle.com, i can only see it wen logged in, other than that i have an app on my phone but i jus started using it in february so there isn't any history except for the first month trying, and i don't know if that has worked or not yet, THOUGH, i am experiencing PMS and my period is due to come in 7 days, i don't want to lose hope - i know that sometimes EARLY pregnancy sometimes looks like PMS but i also don't want to get my hopes too high either.

    Welcome!
I highly recommend temping. Gives you a great picture of whats happening. I hope you get a BFP and don't need to though! If you do, try Fertility Friend for the charts b/c then we can see it so easily! Good luck!
