midcycle spotting after HSG is this normal?

Hi:

I had a saline HSG ON CD9. I'm now CD12, noticed last night (after sex) and this morning that I'm having some slight spotting. I've never had midcycle spotting before. Is this normal?!

TIA,
CHRISTA

Oh gosh Christa. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about saline HSG or anything.
I'm learning tons from you tho.

I really hope and pray that everything is good. KUP!

Yes, its normal. I had an HSG in 2008 and was told that I would very likely have some spotting or even light bleeding for a few days after, I just had a couple of days of light spotting, but I've heard that your experience is within the realm of normal too. What were the results? Any issues?

Thanks! I was concerned since it didn't happen right away and mid-cycle spotting is not my norm!

The results of the HSG were according to my doctor "Platinum" -- all is well. They told me had a "juicy" egg on the left ovary and would likely ovulate soon. I normally ovulate around day 18; but, last cycle was day 15!! My acupuncturist also did ovulation points on Tuesday; So, I'm expecting ovulation any day now!

Still getting low readings on the monitor and negative OPK sticks. But, yesterday, my cervix was really high; today it's lower and my CM is waffeling between creamy/watery and some slight barely noticable EWCM -- just think I'm still "gearing up"! I'm having some slight cramping and there is a lighter second line on the OPK so soon I hope!

Just need to keep DH "interested"; his back is really bothering him right now and as you have heard me mention before he "half heartedly" agreed to try again, so kinda hard to convience him to "perform" Smile Wish me luck!!

I have no idea how DH can be halfhearted about having another when your first two are so absolutely gorgeous. Just keep it fun and not like a job. I found that goes a long way to keeping DH from getting bored/anxious. Sending you tons of (((((baby dust)))))
