    Default Odd AF (x-posted march)

Just wanted to get some perspective here ... A lot of you prolly know my story since I recognize names but my siggy says it well.

My AF was weird i spotted off and on the 18th then had a medium flow on the 19th (cd1) and yesterday it was a pretty light flow, then today it was just a little bit of spotting and not much cm at all. This is like the AFs I get when on BCP not when I am off and ttc or after giving birth which is what I did on 4-19 though to a much lesser degree than a full term birth. I am confused my last AF on May 23 (the first after m/c Noah) was heavy and long which I expected. Do you think I didn't build up a good enough lining after that and that's why maybe I didn't get preggo and would explain the light AF? It was (TMI) mostly brown or rusty colored though there was a bit of red blood too which also isn't normal for me usually it's brown at first then turns red pretty quickly. I've heard there are natural meds to help build your lining do any of you know what they are? And no I don't think it could have been implantation bleeding it was too heavy that first day for that plus I've had terrible cramps and the symptom I did have went away for the most part.

It could have been a freak AF. Ever since I've turned 30, I've noticed my flow patterns are different. I used to be more consistent. I can't help with your question about the lining not buiding up and a bfn. I'm interested in those natural meds that build your lining. I'm trying everything this cycle. Maybe someone will answer this. Sorry that AF was wonky. Hope you get a bfp next cycle.

Thanks for the reply Elizabeth! I hope it was just a wacky AF. The boards are dead so I did some google research and RRL (red raspberry lea, if ya didn't know) tea is good for all things uterine lol. It helps tone your uterus, and from what I've read can help the lining as well. I have used RRL tea when in my last 6 wks of preggoness to help get ctx going. It is recommended if you do use it to stop after O bc it can cause uterine cramps. I have also read tha Pomegranite Juice, needs to be 100% can help as well. Green tea too apparently. Though done say it can inhibit folic acid absorption and you should stop it after O as well. Here's an article I found:

"Green tea helps to increase the amount of CM that you have. Drink 1-2 cups from CD1-Ovulation. Don’t drink green tea during the 2ww because it could cause uterine contractions which might impact implantation.
Pomegranate juice can help to thicken your lining which would help with implantation. Pom brand juice is expensive, try Minute Maid Blueberry Pom. Please avoid other blends, most don’t contain enough real pom to help your lining. If you don’t like the flavor, try adding some sparkling water. Drink 8oz of juice a day from CD1-O. You can drink it past ovulation, but it won’t impact your lining at that point."

Sorry, i saw this a few days ago but got interrupted before I could reply.
I've had some short/light/weird AFs, but only when BFing and they're usually annov or short LP cycles. Maybe your body is adjusting? It was your first real cycle, right? You spotted a lot during the first half of the cycle, so maybe things were still wacky hormonally and your body was having trouble building the lining. You could try B6, that's supposed to help increase LP, so maybe it would help with the lining. I'd guess it was just your body adjusting and hopefully this cycle will be normal. Good luck.

i would say it's just your body adjusting. when I had my 1st MC my doctor told me to wait 3 cycles for everything to regulate... maybe thats why they say that? I wouldn't worry about it. Last month I took clomid and i think it thinned my lining because i had a chemical pregnancy so i think it couldn't implant. This month i'm pregnant so anything can happen! I guess it builds up pretty quick.

Thanks for the replies girls. Yeah I hope it was just my body trying to regulate back to normal. I'm having spotting again these past two days I have no idea what is going on. I know that spotting at O time is a good sign meaning that you O'd a good egg but I'm prolly 3 or 4 days from O. I am trying really hard to just give it to God right now and pray that He blesses me w/ another baby of course dh and I need to do our parts as well . I'm drinking the RRL and Pom juice figured it can't hurt anything the Pim juice is pricey! I had to warn the kids off it lol no $11 bottles of juice for them!!!
