    Default OPK question xp

These darn OPK's have me confused! Why didn't I just buy the digital ones?! OK so I was using dollar store ones for over a week, and they were all snow white except for Thursday, where there was a faint line. (in the afternoon.) On thursday I also bought clearblue brand ones and also got a faint line. Friday I used Clearblue brand (in the morning)and got a line that was the same as a control line, so that means + right? Also had cramps, lots and lots of EWCM. So we BD friday night. Anyway, today (Sat.) I tested again (in the evening this time) and just got a faint line. So does that mean I O'd sometime between yesterday morning and today (evening)? I guess I'm just confused because I thought you were suppose to get 2 + days, not just one?!

I've had times with a + one day and times with a + for two days. You should o 12-48 hours after the first +. Temp shift should happen tomorrow or Mon., I assume!

I agree with Beth. Sounds to me like you got your surge when the test line was as dark as the control line. I've never done an OPK and gotten + for more than one day. Granted I don't O so great on my own but it's enough that it detects the surge. I was told that once I got a + and that's the line being as dark or darker than the control that I would O 12-48 hours after that result and to go ahead and BD. On OPKs there is almost always a line. Sometimes you can see it getting darker before you get the + and other times it looks kind of the same and then all of a sudden it's darker one day. After you've had your surge the line will get lighter again and maybe even fade out. I believe the only test the really tells you it's positive though is if the line is darker or as dark as the control. Hope this helps!
