What do you do for a living? Are you happy with your job? If you could do something/anything else, what would it be?

Well I just had a job interview on Wednesday for a teaching position. I hope to hear back soon. I haven't actually had a job since 2009 when I quit my Human Resources job to go back to graduate school. Then I got pg and just kept on going to school so that I could stay home with DD after she was born.

My dream job is to be a SAHM.

I am a SAHM and I am very happy with my job...most days!

My last job was as a school age childcare teacher. I did enjoy it. It was a job and paid better than jobs that used my degree considering I was in Las Vegas. Before that I actually used my business degree (was living in TN then) and worked as a payroll specialist for a very large company. I really liked the challenges of the job. Most of the time while I was there I was the ONLY payroll person for 10,000 employees across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the UK. I made great money, but the hours were very, very long. Maybe at one point I'll return to doing something HR related again, but till then I will hopefully enjoy many, many years as a SAHM.

I am a medical social worker, and I really enjoy my job.

If I had to pick a dream job, I have a few I've fantasized about.... I would love to be a professional dancer ( I have no dance background but greatly admire dancers), or run my own chocolate shop, or be a tour guide.

When I have babies though, I would love to be a SAHM at least for a while, if we have that luxury financially.

I have technically three "jobs". I work part time for our local Hospital's gym doing childcare. I love that I get to take my kids with me for free. I also keep two kids with my two three to four days a week. My third job is a SAHM to my girls. I love my "jobs" and wouldn't have it any other way.

I teach students with behavioral and emotional disorders. I do love my job but would love to get an elementary general education classroom (would LOVE Kindergarten or 4th grade)

My dream job would be Midwifery but home birth and birthing center birth is illigal in Nebraska so I doubt that'll ever happen. Another dream would be working as a Labor and Delivery nurse!

really??? that's just so weird... not to mention just WRONG!!

I'm an elementary teacher - I'll be teaching year 5 (4th grade) when I go back in September... since DS was born, I've been a SAHM, and most of the time I've loved it.... am feeling a bit 'mixed' about going back to work - I think I need 'more' than staying home with DS all day, every day, but not sure if going back to teaching full time is what I want either... we shall see how it goes...

Currently a SAHM (which would be a dream job to have permanently). I just accepted an administrative position with a HUGE insurance company and will be starting late September. As far as credentials go through, I am a certified Child Life Specialist and am finishing my certification in Infant Massage Instruction. So to actually get a Child Life job in the hospital setting would be a dream! They are just few and far between in the area I live in....and I'm done moving for a long time.

I am currently a SAHM and will be for quite awhile. After we're done having kids and the youngest one is in pre-school or something then I'll probably go back to work, as what I'm not sure.

I don't really have a dream job, I guess being a SAHM was always my dream job. My bbf and I always joked that being a wedding dress model would be pretty sweet, I mean who doesn't love just hanging out in a wedding dress and feeling pretty all day lol.

I'm an elementary band and orchestra teacher. It has always been just the job I wanted to do, but being a teacher (or a public employee of any kind!) in NJ right now is a less-than-encouraging career choice. So at this point my dream job would be to open up my own music studio/school and teach on my own terms!
