Have you ever met a celebrity?

Please share pics if you've got one!

I haven't, ever. Not anyone super known though. I have been to a few comic conventions and met a bunch of my artistic idols and role models and had a blast talking with them. In the comic world (online mostly) they are quite known, but to the rest of us... nothing! hahah!

It was real nice though, getting to see the artistic geniuses in the flesh!

I got a glimpse of Pamela Anderson once when I lived in Vegas. That's about it. I kept hoping I'd run into a celebrity while I was there, but never did (unless you count a glimpse lol). I've been at clubs with big celebrities there, but they were always in another portion of the club from me.

My sister boards her horse in LA and she rides with Leona Lewis and Bijou Phillips. I have also seen William Shatner at some of her horse shows. I did go to the Grammys when I was in high school with my dad but we didn't take a camera.

I met Tom Osbourn (former Nebraska Football Coach) along with Ahman Green, Grant Wistrom, and Kyle Vanden Bosch at the movies in 1997. I used to baby sit for Chris Dishman (was a former husker and then went to play for the Arizona Cardnials) I went to high school with current 49er Xavier Omon.

OH and a couple years ago I met Ron Jeremy on Burbon Street in New Orleans! ROFL

Not very exciting people.

I used to go to church with Speech from Arrested Development, but I never actually talked to him or anything.

Apparently DH's family is semi-famous in Korea. His grandfather had a state funeral, I think. But he died long before I met DH, so I don't suppose that counts. Wink

Best I've done is some actors at Sci-fi conventions. Walked right past Pierce Brosnan out walking with his sons outside of Central Park once, but can't say I actually MET him. (I looked for a good, long time though. Wink )

I've never actually MET anyone really famous, unless you know who Pat Green or Keven Fowler is (Texas Country artists). I've seen Mark Wills in concert, as well as Sara Evans, Brad Paisley and I saw Garth Brooks's show in Vegas last year. I also saw Marty Stewart in Vegas in '07 on my honeymoon. . . hmm not very exciting, well, except for Garth! Love him!

Depends on both your definition of "meet" and your definition of "famous."

The only famous/famous person I have met is Jason Robards. (Google him). I talked with him (I was an extra in one of his movies in the 80's when I was a kid). Oh wait--I also went backstage at Def Leppard when I was 16 and met the band, so they count too. But if we're being giving with the definition of famous, then I can add many more: I worked at the Olympic Training Center when I was 16 and frequently had lunch with Shannon Miller (gymnast) and Bonnie Blair (speed skater). My sister used to date Travis McNabb who at the time was the drummer for Better Than Ezra, but is now the drummer for Sugarland. Nevertheless, the perks of that were lots of backstage time, so I can count all the members of that band, and lot's of other bands no one has heard of except maybe Jesus Jones. (And they were very cool). Oh yeah--one weird night with Kyle the lead singer from Dexter Freebish (wikipedia).

If we're counting people we have "seen" then I am adding Owen Wilson, Usher, and Woody Allen. I'll post some pictures below. I saw Owen and Usher in the airport and Woody Allen in Rome on my Honeymoon.

In order: Woody in Rome; Owen Wilson in the airport taken on my crappy phone, my friends and I kidnapping Kyle from Dexter Freebish after a show, me, my sister and my friend on the Better Than Ezra tourbus with Travis, and myself and some friends after an Ezra show with Travis and Tom (bassist) drinking a "happy bowl" at a bar in Kansas City. Fun times!
