I'm trying to find some information about breast changes online whether it's related to pregnancy or not and really just can't find it. I thought I'd post here and see if anyone had any insight. So I'm 14DPO and still getting BFN. I'm not sure if there's really a chance or not. I suppose there is since AF hasn't shown and I'm having pretty extreme symptoms that seem to get worse on a day to day basis or close to it anyway but I'm on Clomid and also think it could be playing some tricks on my body. Either way the biggest symptom that I'm having and am having a hard time explaining away is the breast tenderness. I've had this before with AF and sometimes my breasts do get really sore. I used to have fibrous cysts...since I was about 13 I'd guess. I'd get them every month after O and before AF and around the time AF showed they'd go away. I always got them the same time I gained any water weight.
Well I was on the pill for a while and now I've been on Clomid for a few cycles and it's been over a year probably since I've had the cysts. They're also REALLY obvious since they're painful and you can feel them so easily with your hand. I don't have any cysts or knots of any kind right now and this pain I'm having is so unusual but really intense at times. Sometimes it's a stabbing and burning pain and occasionally it even feels like it itches under my skin. Tonight though a few times I've had some intense pain that so far has just been in the left breast that feels almost like really swollen glands except I've felt them and nothing is swollen. It's a swollen clenching sort of feeling but it's definitely in my breast. It really hurts when it happens but it isn't constant.
Has anyone ever heard of this before either in relation to pregnancy or not? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks!
Have you read all the side effects of the Clomid? I know I read it all once when I was on Clomid in 2009, but I've forgotten it all since. I didn't have that on Clomid, but I had other issues with moods. I think it's something you should discuss with your doctor to see if there is any connection to the Clomid or if it's something else. Breast pains are some of the worst you can have and the only experience I have with breast pain is when I was pg and then when I was nursing and that wasn't as bad as what you are describing. KUP on how it goes and hopefully it resolves soon.
