so would you still take clomid?

I'm supposed to start taking clomid next month cuz my ob said I wasn't ovulating. well it looks like i ovulated this month so I don't know if I should. I think it would still help to lenghten my LP so that would be good but i don't want to take it and have it make ttc worse by thinning my uterine lining KWIM? sooooooo... what would you do if you were me? would you take it for a month or two and see what happens?

I would probably take it for a month or two. I doubt it would hurt to do that. I O and I still took it. I don't O great on my own. I guess you don't know how effective your O is unless you get a day 21 progesterone or something. On unmedicated cycles my progesterone is low enough that they don't think it's adequate enough to conceive even though I do O. Clomid can thin lining and such but you can use preseed and if your doc is monitoring you they should know if your lining is thinner. My doc didn't do monitoring cause we just gave it 3 months. The RE said it can't really hurt to do just a few months of Clomid because it may work and then you don't have to worry about getting other tests done and spending more money. It also definitely worked to lengthen my LP and that can make a huge difference. I bet if you give it a shot it'll work. Smile Good luck sweetie!

Yeah, it couldn't hurt just to try it for a month or two. Hopefully you'll be joining me in Oct so you won't need it. Biggrin

I would be torn. I don't like taking meds. for anything, BUT I used Femara even though I was usually ovulating. My RE hoped that I would have a "stronger ovulation" (which I did). I didn't get pregnant using Femara (hence my hesitation). I'm not much help, am I? Hopefully, you'll be pg this cycle and won't have to worry about it!
