Thankfully, a triphasic chart is not necessary to show a pregnancy. I say thankfully because I've never had one. Unfortunately, you can have the best looking chart ever and still find out you aren't pg at the end and get the huge drop right before AF shows. What charting is really for is to get to know your cycles really well and give you the best possible chance at catching that egg. That's what makes it really frustrating sometimes.
Like Christa, I'm a POAS addict and would start POAS way early. I did in fact. I started to POAS at 6 DPO and got BFN's until 8DPO when I got a VERY faint bfp. Some people don't deal well with BFN's so they don't test early, but I prefer to know as soon as possible and the BFN's bother me less than having AF suddenly show.
Mine are triphasic all the time. When my temp drops, my period starts within 24 hours. Despite my charts looking the same, I still obsess over the minor differences.
I only had implantation bleeding once and that was my loss.
Good job with the charting!
DD1 July 2008 (41w3d)
November 2010 (13 weeks)
DD2 August 2011 (33w5d)
Today my temp took a straight drop...I don't know if that's good or bad at this point.
I was so amazed at the drop that I took my temp twice right in a row. 97.73 at 6:19am and 97.76 at 6:20am
Either way it's a straight drop...
I also POAS today with FMU and a FRER test. BFN.
On one hand it helps keep my hopes "stable" on the other I know 8DPO can be way too early...
I'm going to push myself to wait to POAS again until at least 12DPO...
Here's today's chart screenshot
Egg implantation "typically" happens around day 7 PO -- so that could just be an implantation dip. You won't know for sure until later. HUGS!!

I agree with Krista. That looks more like an implantation dip than your first dip did. I'm crossing everything for you, hun.

This is so exciting. Good luck.
Yup, what Christa said. I think my implantation happened at 7dpo based on my starting to POAS at 6dpo (yes, I am indeed that crazy). However, implantation can technically occur anywhere from 5dpo to as late as 12dpo (though I'm thinking that late is probably pretty rare). The norm would be 6 to 8dpo. So the drop could definitely be implantation dip. Of course, the waiting is the hardest part. I'll be excited to see what the next few days brings.
