Question Weird BBT Chart - Triphasic or Preggos?

    Hi all,

Woke up this morning with a HUGE temp spike! I am wondering if it is implantation? Here is my chart.
As you can see, I did ovulate a week ago and we had plenty of sex. Also, since Wednesday, I have been feeling nauseous. Not to the point of getting sick, but it's affecting me. I have also been pretty tired. This morning, I am crampy. On that note, I seldom get cramps before AF arrives.

I don't know much about triphasic charts, except that I did not have one last month.

What do you all think? Can I start getting excited or not get my hopes up?

I hope that spike is a good sign for you. I personally wouldn't consider it a triphasic chart until that temp is up there for 3 days. (I believe that is FF's criteria as well.) But, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I see you stayed up pretty high today! If you are still in that range tomorrow, I'd say it is triphasic now! Still have my fingers crossed for you!

    Thumbs down

Haha... sorry. Here is my chart. As you can see, I took a HPT this morning and it was a BFN. Do you ladies think 10 DPO is too soon for a positive result?

I don't want to get my hopes up but I really thought this was it.

    SIGH.

I was just stalking your chart and noticed you got a BFN this morning. However, I see that though the temp has dropped a smidge it hasn't fallen overly much and I would like to say there is still hope. We once had someone here get a BFN at 11dpo and then get a BFP at 12dpo. Hopefully AF will stay away and you get that BFP in a few days. KUP, please.

ETA: haha, your post wasn't showing yet when I started typing my reply.

    Unhappy

Well, my other thing is this is only my second month off the pill. Last month my cycle was only 28 days, but before I went on the pill, it was always 30. So I'm not sure if my cycle is a couple days longer or what. I OD at day 16, which I thought was pretty late.

I think I'll test again on Saturday if there's no sign of AF, but if that's still a BFN then I'll just wait and see.

Point 1: 10 DPO is still pretty early. Things could definitely change.

Point 2: Getting off BCP causes a little wackiness for a while. I got off in Feb. Since then I have had a 32 day cycle, a 31 day cycle, a 29 and a 28. Go figure I was always a 30 day girl before too. So.......I wouldn't stress over it too much. As long as your cycles are "normal" in that you are O'ing and you have *roughly* a 30 day cycle, I wouldn't stress over the total # of days.

    Talking

I won't. I'm determined to relax the next few days (even though I have a road trip with my in-laws this weekend - kill me).

The DH is a teacher and has most of the summer off, so we're going for a run today. I think that will help me relax.

Erin, are you planning to continue running when you get preggos? I am!

Absolutely!! My sister is 26 weeks right now and still logging about 15 miles a week, which I find inspirational, even though she has to run in the "pre-natal cradle" which makes me

(google it if you've never seen it, and then realize with horror: 'this is in my future.')
