Hi ladies,
I would love your thoughts on when you think I should do HPT's.
I came off the pills with my last placebo week (starting AF on CD1) beginning Aug. 2nd and obviously I have no idea what my cycle is doing, if anything. I know it can take a few months to get back to normal.
I did several OPK's duing August, all negative. I understand that it may be a while before I begin ovulating and/or AF begins, but how the heck do I know when to take a HPT?
I already took a HPT on CD 29 which was negative. I know it was way early to do that, but I couldn't resist.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and also what your experiences were if/when you've come of BCPs in the past. (I've posted msgs. in the past about coming off BCP so am sorry if this is redundent).
Thanks.

I'd just take one every few days until AF shows. Buy some internet cheapies or go by the Dollar Store for their $1 tests. When TTC DS I was one of those weirdos that didn't test till I was convinced I was late. I didn't know I was pregnant with him till 5.5 weeks. lol.

I agree. Test every 2 days until AF arrives. IC's or $ store HPT's are perfect for this. Once you get a +HPT on those you can test with an FRER to confirm. Good Luck and KUP!
Thanks everyone!
It's just hard to know how often to take HPTs when I may not have AF at all for 2 months or so, solely due to my body adjusting from being off the pill, and not due to pregnancy.
