Hi ladies I'm new to the Plus Sized Women group but not too new to TTC. DH and I have been trying since Oct 2008. We had our first BFP on Nov 21 but M/C on Dec 7. We've been trying ever since but have had no luck since I have a very short LP. July 19 2009 is my first cycle trying Clomid (50mg) I hope it does the trick!!
Hello all, new to this so sorry if my posting has errors - am PSW TTC #1 for the past five months - have lost 30kgs so far, from 128kgs in April of last year. Weight loss was part of the baby mission. Married to DH since April 96, no kids so far as promised family would wait - am 35 and worried we might have left it too late.
Everything seems to be normal but am currently CD 9 on cycle five, am temping and CM analysing each morning - being PSW people do tend to be quite judgemental - but am fit and active - work out regularly and have always been healthy - fingers crossed and baby dust to you all.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Daisy and I am from North Carolina. My DH and I have been married since March 2008 and we have been TTC #1 since May. I am overweight- 6'2''/290 so I am concerned about negative feedback from my doctor but so far she has been really sweet and given me the go ahead. I am athletic and so is DH so we are just doing everything we can to be healthy and get pregnant.
I was on BC for seven years, I was placed on it at 15 due to very heavy periods that were causing anemia. Since May, I have had two periods...one at 31 days and one at 52 days. I am currently on day 58 of my cycle and quite worried about the lack of a regular cycle...
I have been reading everything I can about cycle length and getting off the pill as well as the effect of weight on ovulation. I have known many women my size who have gotten pregnant and had beautiful healthy babies. I just want to know why my cycle is so long and if I am ovulating.
I have recently been depressed by my lack of a regular cycle so I have decided to recommit to my fitness plan in order to give myself something else to focus on and if I happen to lose weight, well maybe that will help things out tooI am running my first 5k in October and training for it has given me a new sense of confidence.
I am currently taking a pre-natal vitamin, drinking at least 100ozs of water a day, exercising regulary, and trying to not stress out at my job. I am a middle school teacher and my job can be very stressful at times.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here and I hope we all get our BFP soon!
My name is Rachel, my husband and i have just starting trying. We have been married for 11 yrs in october and i just turned 36 about a week ago. I am still encouraged that it will happen quickly...but we will see.
I am hopeful for all you ladies and hope many of you get good news this month!!
Hello everyone. My name is Crystal. I am 22 (will be 23 in a couple of weeks). My boyfriend is 29. We have been talking about TTC. I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 3 years ago.
Hello All,
Although I have posted a couple things here and there, I am new! My husband and I are officially TTC as of yesterday (I was supposed to start a new pill pack, and didn't). I am 5'6" / 255lbs. Aside from being diagnosed with Hypothyroidism about a month ago and being overweight, I am healthy. DH and I have been married since April 26, 2008. We hope it doesn't take too long to conceive but we are on-board for the trying!![]()
Hi Everyone.
I'm new here. My fiance and I are TTC for the second time. We had a BFP January of '07. But I M/C on Feb. 15. Since then we had agreed not to try but to just let things happen as they may. But we are not - not trying either. No BC at the moment.
I'm not sure when I O'd. But I think it was recently because of the EWCM. We DTD days before. I'm on CD#22. I'm new to all this counting days, etc. My cycles have been irregular though. Anyways, I've had some spotting and some cramping but it's not major. Any advice. I know it may be too early to tell or anything but I'd like some advice.
Thank you and God Bless
My name is Dee, I'm 31.
My fiancee and I have been trying for a couple months now.
We have stopped BC since last year and so far nothing.
They say good things come to those who wait.
We will see.
He has one daughter from a previous relationship. She is four years old and we decided that its been two years now and we are both ready. I am already four days late with TOM and my breasts are tender as heck but it could be stress or TOM (Time of Month).
I really really wish it wasn't him but we'll see.
Ideally my doctor wants me to lose weight but she stated that it shouldn't be a factor as I am otherwise healthy. Lets see what happens.![]()
Hello Ladies!
I'm Tabitha, I'm 5'4'' @ 224.5lbs. I'm 26 and Live in Texas with my DH Carl. We've been married for 7 months, we weren't TTC but on Nov. 21 I got my BFP. Went to the clinic and had a UPT and that was another BFP. So as of today I am 7w3d my EDD is July 27. So far I haven't had any complecations due to being OW (overweight). So I'm keeping everything including my eyes crossed!
Hi Ladies,
My name is Utica, I'm twenty-seven and from North Carolina. My DH Ken(he's twenty-eight) and I have been together for 9 years and married for the last 3. We bought our first home last summer and we came to the conclusion that it's just too much room for the 2 of us, so we "stopped trying not" to get pregnant in July 09 and really started TTC in November 09.
3 years ago, I had really irregular(and really long) AF's, but after losing 40 lbs, I became regular again. Other than that, I haven't come across any difficulties yet. I just want it to happen already, it seems like all the women in my family are super duper fertile. But then again, I'm the only PS one. I've been doing a lot of online research about PS women and pregnancies, and sites like this make me feel a lot better about this journey.
