Appt this morning

Sorry to post so much this morning - I'm avoiding this pile of work on my desk ROFL
I had a 5day scan at the clinic. Dr. said that "it's exactly what I would expect to see". I don't think in almost 4 years of doing this that I have been "textbook". I'm going to continue my current dosage unless the bloodwork dictates an adjustment. I go back on Friday for another scan.

Mimi - you are getting so close!!! Forgive me if you have mentioned it already but have your started stimming yet? Even though it's a higher dosage of meds, it seems that this protocol is a little easier physically. I hope that is the case with you as well.

Doesn't this protocol have a few less shots since you are doing the microdose lupron? If I'm remembering correctly with the long protocol I had to do lupron forever before I started stims and I think twice a day. With the MDL protocol I only took it for a few days before starting stims and once a day after that. It's so hard to remember. I kept a journal when I was going through all of it so I could look back. It's hard to beleive that around this time 3 years I was going through my first IVF cycle.

I have my baseline today, and if everything is ok I start stimming tomorrow Yahoo This time I am doing lupron, bravelle, menopur, dexamethasone, prenatals, folic acid, ovidrel and then later if everything goes right I'll be doing progesterone suppositories, estrace and there is another pill but I cannot remember what it is. Fingers crosses I get good results like you Smile

I've been on Lupron for almost 2 weeks as this point. I decreased my dosage on Sat when I started my Follistim. I'll trigger with Ovidrel. They may have to add another med this weekend or beginning of next depending on what the scans say Friday. I tend to respond well at first and then peter out but maybe with this new procotol I won't. They are looking for quality over quantity at this point.

Good luck Mimi!! KUP!!
