I had my baseline appt this morning. No cysts!! :yahoo: Everything looked great. I'm to start the Lupron tomorrow morning (meds should come today but if not I still have some leftover). Take it for 4 days w/ the BCP. Have a lupron AF then I'll start stimming. It is going by much faster this time. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic but I did have a little meltdown this morning because I let myself start thinking "what if" but then I snapped myself out of it. I've started walking again (3 miles yesterday) and I've cut out drinking anything but water. I lost a few pounds per the scale at the clinic. I'm more interested in healthy habits (that I can continue) than true weight loss so we'll see.
Oh, and I'm happy to report that DH DID get me flowers yesterday.
How's everyone else doing?
Oh how exciting! :yahoo:
I'm so glad that everything is going smoothly. Good luck and fingers crossed that this is it! :D
Oh and yay for flowers! :D
I feel like time is draaaging for me...lol.
Glad everything looked good at your appt and you can get the ball rolling. That's so nice that DH got you flowers. Good job on walking. It's a good start. I had a nice walk today. It's so nice to get out an enjoy the spring weather and get some fresh air. Where you a big pop drinker? I just heard that if a person stops drinking pop they will loose 15 lbs of fat in the first year. I'm a big water drinker, with coffee in the morning and an occasional pop. I always have a glass or bottle of water with me. I've lost a lot of wt since I met DH 7 yeras ago and I was not a big person to start with. I think it's had to do with no pop. When I met him I drank regular then switched to diet. I think the diet is just as bad for you as you retain water and bloat with that.
I wasn't a big soda drinker (although I do love Dr. Pepper) but being from the South, I had sweet tea everyday. I drink a ton of water here at work - at least 80oz or more - but would drink other things when I got home or when we would go out. I'm realizing now that it's not really a "treat" if you do it everyday!! Before, I'd do very well during the 2 weeks of stimming and then the 2ww but once I would find out the cycle was a bust - that's all she wrote. I'm trying now to change my habits and thinking so that I can stick with them regardless of what the outcome is.
:yahoo: I am glad that everything went well today.
I love to walk/jog/run, it relaxes me a lot. But because of my allergies I have to do it inside on the treadmill :( I do understand about the soda. I used to be a big diet soda drinker. I called it "the juice." Most days I would start drinking it at 10am. Then DH and I decided to try to live healthier lives. I transitioned from diet soda, to sweet tea, to unsweetened tea, to water. For a treat now I will make lemonade with fizzy water or mix freshly squeezed orange juice with fizzy water.
