Margaret - Sorry about the job. I know it is disappointing to think you have found the right job and then to find out its not. I hope your hubby likes his job.

Meg - I hate hearing stories about Care Flight crashes but they do happen on a rather frequent basis. I have had mulitple opportunities to go on them but never did because I knew I was not insured if one should go down. One of my friends, a single dad who is doing a surgery residency, goes on them all the time and I am not sure if he knows that he is not insured should they crash - at least that is what I have been told by multiple sources. The workers, of course, are. I do think if I was a nurse that I would be drawn to that kind of work because you get so much autonomy. My hubby probably is very happy to have me just in the office/hosp from 7-5. People who do that kind of work truly are heroes, risking their lives daily for others, and we should never forget that.

I survived the dentist. I didn't even feel the injection at all. I'll be going back to this dentist for any procedures.

Tiffany...that's good to know to check into insurance before going on a lifeflight. DH said he talked to the flight nurses about a ride along program they have and was interested in going along.

Thank you for all your support. Had my babies in the 3rd and it has been terrific and terrifying to be a patient. Full story on the Jan page. Will post more as I can.

Tiffany...I'm glad you posted over here. I've been waiting for an update since I saw on FB that you had them. I'm sure things have been a whirlwind since their arrival. Glad to hear they were healthy weights. I'm sure it's scary but also having your medical knowledge hopefully it makes things more understandable and less scary. Hope you are able to take care of yourself a little. Has DS met his new brothers? Can't wait to see pics.

My parents took us all to the movie to see "Parental Guidance." Super cute movie. It was very funny and clean. No swear words, which you never get anymore. The girls got a kick out of it also. DH just left for work. He'll be gone until about 7:30 tomorrow morning.

Sorry I have not responded before this... finally feeling better. As I said in the other thread it was Norwalk virus and it is NASTY.

Our new car is a 2012 Honda Civic, I get to drive the new one which has a sun roof which will be nice in the summer but not right now with all the snow, Sean is driving the one we bought just over a year ago. Funny they are the same year but the first one we bought was right when the 2012s came out and the one we just bought was on clearance.

I had a really promising interview yesterday. I really hope I get this job, I should know by friday.

Sean starts his new job on Monday. They are going to be cross-training him is some stuff that pays very well if he ever leaves there.

Robbie's new medication seems to be helping, no rages and very few meltdowns. I have a ton of paperwork to do for the hospital for the nuero-developmental clinic. Once the school and us get the paperwork in we wait for an appointment...

Margaret...I'm glad you figured out what was making you so sick. I just pray to God I don't get sick before Nicaragua or while we are there. That is my biggest fear. I just got over a cold so hopefully I won't get it again. We gave the girls a "good handwashing" lecture today. Not only do I not want to be sick, but I don't want them sick.

It amazing how much they drop the price of cars at the end of the year. When DH got his 2011 Focus, he actually bought it at the end of 2010 and he got one heck of a deal on it even though it was the next year's car. In 2012 Focus changed the body style so in 2010 they were already trying to get rid of the 2011.

What was your job interview for? Hope you get good news about it. Hope DH's new job goes well also. Glad Robbie's new meds seem to be helping.

I haven't been up to much here. I've been scouring the internet looking at thousands of pics of lighting, showers, bathrooms, etc. The contractor is hoping to start our bathroom project next week. I'm a little nervous about being out of the country for a week when they are doing it incase they have any questions. One benefit though is that we don't have to live with that mess for a week. We scaled back the shower a lot and aren't going to do the fancy DTV digital system. We are going with the traditional valve with shower heads on each side. We aren't doing the body sprays either. I don't think we would use them that much and one plumber said our city doesn't have the water pressure to support it so we probably wouldn't be happy with it. Plus, our water in our city is so expensive so we wouldn't really be wanting to use 21gpm.

I know I have been MIA also. It was nice to call the RE's office with good news. Still worried about twin 1. Hopefully our issues with him will be a distant nightmare in the near future. I am thinking of taking a little more time than originally planned so I need to call the office about that today. I am still dealing with blood pressure and cough.

I still have one frozen embryo left and we need to decide what to do about that. I said never pregnant again, but that was twins. Anyway, don't tell my DH or he will think I am truly, truly crazy - which I probably am right now. Anyway, other than a possible FET which has a low probability of working out (not good quality, plus its been frozen, plus there is only one), we are done with pregnancy. I really think I should be done, but I have real guilt about that remaining embryo. But I was really sick this time and not even out of the woods as my blood pressure is still quite high despite the meds.

My parents are coming in tonight. It will be nice to see them.

I have come a long way in one week.

Meg - I have spent probably 3 months total of my life in 3rd world countries and have never been sick so it is possible. Drink bottled water; or a coca cola light. Wash your hands. Wear mosquito repellant. Wine should be safe. Enjoy your trip. I cant wait until my kids are old enough to do stuff like that.

Margaret - I hope you get the job. We got a new Honda a month ago and got a great deal on it; though it would be even cheaper right now. I am so glad the medication seems to be working better for Robbie. I hope this is the one for him.
