What about doing a birthday for Jesus? We used to do that Christmas Eve and go to a live Nativity.

The TV I bought at Target for $150 on Black Friday is now on sale at target.com for $129. Goes to show that Black Friday prices aren't the cheapest. I said they could actually jack the prices up on things and ppl would still buy them because they think they are getting a good deal. The extra $20 I spent isn't worth packaging the TV back up and returning it. Target won't do a price match on Black Friday or online deals either. I'm just glad I didn't stand outside in the cold and wind for hours to get the TV. Then I might be a little upset.

The party was fun, wish there had been a dance but oh well. We did not win any of the raffle prizes but they did raise $830 which will be matched by the company for the leukemia society. They have raised over $10,000 during the entire year. Will post pictures once I find my camera cord.

I have a busy week this week!

Monday - family doctor appointment (with stuff to be mentioned about Robbie and Sean)
Tuesday - job interview, Brownies (Girl Guides) and a cookie exchange
Wednesday - Robbie's psychologist appointment
Thursday - get ready for craft sale, have to call about my disability as well
Friday - craft sale ALL day
Saturday - Christmas concert that a friend is singing in

Here if a price lowers within 2 weeks then you just have to take in the receipt and by law they have to refund the difference.

Tiffany...that's a neat way to explain Christmas to your son. Our girls don't expect a lot nor need/want a lot.

Margaret...glad DH's company was able to raise so much money and match it. What do they do to raise the money? Where is your craft sale at? Sounds like you've been preparing for it.

Yesterday I got all of our Christmas cards labeled and put the pic in them. I wish I had stamps yesterday so I could've put those on at the same time but I got them today. Stamps are so expensive. It pretty much costs twice as much to mail them out as it costs to buy the cards. I need to get our Christmas letter written and then put those in after I pick up my letterhead from Staples next week. We have a busy week as well with Christmas programs. I'm glad they are done now before it gets too busy. Tonight we have DD2's band concert. Tomorrow is DD2 and 3's school program. DD2 is Mary. They have a performance at 2pm and 7pm. I'm only going to the evening one. Thursday is DD 1's band and vocal concert and on Saturday is my violin recital. Then our Christmas celebrations begin! I got two more ppl's gifts bought. I ordered them online on Saturday night and I got an email on Saturday night saying they had been shipped out. Next Wednesday I'm going to go shopping with my mom and two sisters. We go every year. Even though I pretty much am done, it's still fun to go for the day and shop and eat. In years past I haven't gotten home until midnight.

Today is another nice day. It's in the 60's. I went to yoga today for the first time in 2 weeks. I slacked off last week. My shoulder has been causing me lots of pain so I'm hoping that the stretching in yoga will help it out. I have violin lessons later today. I love playing Christmas music. I could play it all year.

Some was direct donations, there are about 100 people at his office, and some was raffles and such. One guy at the golf tournament won a really nice golf club but it was right-handed and he is left-handed so he offered it to the highest bidder at the BBQ and someone paid $200 which the company then matched. The lady from the Leukemia society was there for that and she burst into tears.

The craft sale is that the hospital where Robbie was born at. It is supposed to have a really good turn out. Funny thing on Saturday I was buying some candy canes to crush for the tops of homemade peppermint patties. A man behind me was commenting on them and I said what they were for. He wanted all the details of the sale and as I was leaving said "I will see you Friday"! LOL We were across the city at the time as well!

That's funny about the guy at the store. Hope you have a good turnout. We used to have more craft sales around here when I was younger but we really don't have many anymore. I remember there used to be a big one at our mall we'd go to every year. I think it's because not many ppl around here are crafty anymore.

really, really exhausted, cannot stay awake and Robbie is home in a few minutes!

both still going, surviving on chips and gingerale, the combo seems to help, my breasts are going insane as well, feel like they are bursting out of my bra and even my sleep bras seem tight.

Third and FINAL interview at 10am tomorrow. Please give me a job offer right after that!!!!

Made through night #1 of programs. Only 3 programs left of the week! DD played a quartet with some friends and did a really good job. She also had a speaking part to announce one of the songs. She doesn't tell us about parts she has because she wants to surprise us but then we look like the "out of touch" parents. I did get it out of her that she's Mary tonight but that's all.
