Meg-good luck with what you are doing on your trip. Sounds stressful, but exciting. Too bad it is so complicated to do things for the people that they really need!

Margaret, good luck with your job search and getting you and your son's medical issues improved. Hope it all settles down for you soon....it's hard to become "less stressed" when life is stressful! I've been there. At least make sure you are taking some time for yourself, even if it's just a warm bath or something.

Tiffany-I am the opposite of you. I moved from a cold climate and now live in Texas. Winters are great here, but I cannot adjust to the scalding hot summer weather. I hope that changes the longer I am here. I miss the change of seasons a lot too. But at the moment, it's definitely preferable to be here. In the 70s today.

    We are doing well.

    Kara

Tiffany - take it easy! You would tell your patients that so listen to the advice!!!

    Meg's pictures are so incredible.

Tomorrow I go and get my hair did. The grey roots are getting way too long! I will have to do before/after pictures. Today I went and bought the material to make the quilt (and some other stuff) for my nephew's baby that is due in May. I respect their decision to wait to find out the gender I have to say that it is hard when I want to sew stuff... Oh well. The material is super cute. I will post pictures later.

We were exhausted. Luckily the boys were merciful on us last night. Today we are just starting to clean up from the trip. We do have some help coming this afternoon - hoping she is willing to stay late to help get stuff done.

A chicken is in the crock pot - hoping to make chicken noodle soup for tonight. I meant to cut up a chicken, but I am not much for butchering it. So, hope it will cook and I can tear it apart with a fork... we do have all day.

We did get a baptism date for the twins set. They are already a month old.

And we got our announcements; designed on snapfish. I am starting to address the envelopes... a little every day for the next week should take care of it.

No other plans except hopefully an afternoon nap.

We are home!! I miss Nicaragua already and can't wait to go back. We came home with many memories and friendships. The people that work with the mission are amazing. When we left we didn't think we'd be able to do medical clinics. We then were able to team up with the government and go out to the villages with their doc and nurse. I think it was just to make sure we were doing a good job really. We ended up seeing 860 people from 5 different villages in 3 days. We averaged about 100 pts/hour. It was an amazing trip. I'll write more probably on Monday when I have more time. I'm playing catch up at home today. DH and I don't have much laundry since we were able to do laundry at the compound. Three girls over 10 days sure does make a lot of laundry though. Tomorrow morning we leave for Minnesota to visit a friend that had a baby a month ago. I've talked about her before here I'm sure. She went through IVF around the same time I did my last cycle and it was successful and now has a 2 yr old. She then surprisingly got pregnant without even trying after her 1st period after finishing BFing. She had a little boy last month. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed today because everything feels a mess with unpacking and having the mess of the bathroom stuff in our bedroom. Here are the pics I posted on facebook while I was gone for those of you that haven't seen them. I have about 500 more to upload later. I hope this works with the way I'm sharing it.

Meg - seeing your pictures/posts on facebook was amazing, I loved following your journey.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. So, Sean lost his job today and he has not been there even a month. They did not give him the equipment he needed - no computer when he uses a computer to design machines and they said he was not doing his job!!!! How was he supposed to do anything when he had to share a computer! I am so mad at the company. Sean was crying when he told me.... in 12 years he has cried maybe 3 times.

Another ugh. My sister texted me that she was sending my mom's life insurance papers for me to sign over to pay for the funeral - it was $10,000 total between the 4 kids but it was always meant for the funeral and so no big deal. I am guessing that even though she sent me the papers she did not read them. The choices I have is to receive a cheque or to talk to a financial adviser about what I want to do with my money My sister does not get that I will have to get the money and send it to her to pay off the bills.... This has again brought all my emotions going insane and so I have been crying for the last 24 hours. My dad's death was so easy to deal with, mom's have been so hard.
