Mari...I don't think you are being unreasonable at all. You have the right to be frustrated with DD's teacher. I can't believe she told her to just not do her homework if she forgot her book. What is that teaching a child? What grade is DD in? It's hard for you to go over a paper or test when she did it over a month ago. You are doing a great job mothering DD!

We had DD2 and DD3's conferences today. The girls always get so nervous about them. They have no reason to because all of their teachers say good things about them. They are all doing very well in school and we are proud of them.

Mari- I'd be so mad I am not sure I would even start with words with the teacher; you are teaching your daughter to get the job done no matter what and that is important. Hope you can find a solution. I also wish you great luck with your next cycle. My heart breaks for what you have been through. I can't believe some idiot at work complained about TTC for 3 months. Seriously, I'd say something super catty back - like, bored already? But when I am wounded I can get pretty nasty.

Meg - I have been following along and I think of you guys all the time.

Margaret - Hope you feel better soon.

I feel relieved because I honestly do feel that I can be a little annoying when it comes to her and school.

Tiffany-thank you! This has been very hard but I'm getting by!

AF is a day late, but I woke up cramping today so maybe it's coming. My cycle was very heavy and long last month so maybe that's why it's late. I have no pregnancy symptoms or anything like that so I'm not worried about it. If it doesn't show in a couple of days I guess I may have to test but I doubt it.

Mari...you know what is important for your daughter. It may take your body a while to return to it's normal cycle.

DH and I went for a walk today along the river. We saw a bald eagle. "Indentity Theft" was a funny movie. I can't say it was hilariously funny like some ppl claim. Pretty much all the funny parts were what was shown in the commercials. It was also kind of long (2 hrs) and drug on a bit.

I dropped of my letter to the clerk of court saying I have a vacation planned during jury duty time. I got a letter in the mail saying I've been excused the week prior, week of and week after our cruise. I was worried that they'd send me notice the week of our trip. I'm relieved to know I don't have to worry about it.

Mari...sorry to hear AF is on her way but at least you are not in limbo land wondering what's going on.

We are making a Nicaraguan breakfast tomorrow. We are going to make fried plantains, gallo pinto (rice and beans) and pineapple. Making gallo pinto is quite the process. We've been cooking the beans for over 2 hours now and they have about another hour left. There are different steps in cooking the beans. We are also cooking the rice. I'm glad everything could be done the night before. Idk if our cooks in Nicaragua prepared things the night before like this since we always had gallo pinto for breakfast.

I wanted it to come actually. I'm not ready yet for pregnancy so I'm happy. Got it this morning.

Making beans isn't easy I used to see my mom all the time, they take a while to cook correctly.

Our Nicaraguan breakfast turned out well. We'll be making it again sometime. We have quite a bit leftover also.

We had DD1's band concert tonight. We ate at a spaghetti dinner at the school beforehand and I ate way too much spaghetti. They don't want you to leave hungry. I think I need to go on a walk/run in the morning.
