Mari...sounds like you have quite a job ahead of you but it will be nice when it's finished. Remodeling can be a very long and stressful task. Are you doing the work on your own or are you hiring a contractor?

No one at the dinner figured out that our fruit tray was a rainbow. We had to tell everyone what it was.

Good luck with your remodel Mari. We are looking for a house and dream about fixing something up, but I know we would have to do it before we move in or it would never happen. We are working on a list of "must haves" for our future house but it just keeps getting longer and longer.

Meg - Don't know how people did not see it was a rainbow. So cool. We are going to a dinner tonight and we are bringing green punch with sliced oranges. I am not sure if people will pick up on the fact those are the colors of the Irish flag. Also, we are bringing mashed potatoes because you can't have an Irish party without potatoes and they were not on the menu.

Personally I would want my patients to be comfortable with their care and even if someone had to go find another doctor, if that made them feel comfortable, that is what I would want. This is especially true if they have had a loss like what you had Mari. Most doctors want their patients to be happy and well taken care of.

DH won two People's Choice Awards from the photos he entered in the Community Photo Exhibit. These were all taken in Nicaragua.

This one got the most votes all together out of 176 photos:

This is the other People's Choice Award:

These were the others we entered:

Tiffany...sounds like you have a fun night planned. The girls and I are going to go to an Irish Stew dinner at the church in a bit. I'll probably drink a Killian's Irish Red while I watch The Amazing Race. That's the extent of our St. Patty's Day celebrating. We did finish painting our bathroom! DH left a bit ago for work out of town. He'll be home again around 8am tomorrow.

Tiffany...good luck today on your first day back to work!

Schools are getting out 2 hrs early today. It snowed a bit last night and it is getting pretty windy so they are worried about blizzard conditions.

I'm so in love with those pics! Especially of the first one....

So I called my OB and just asked for the prescription. Oh well, I hope she understands. I'm waiting to hear back from the MFM, they said they will call back with a date and time. The doctor I'm seeing is actually the chief of MFM, so I hope that means he is very well experienced. I don't like the fact that it's a male but I can't be picky at this point. I wish I can say that I'm excited about starting a new cycle but I'm not. There is much more terror than excitement so that stinks so bad.

A good friend told me yesterday that she is pregnant, this is now her 4th. She said she wasn't planning on it, of course right. So I had to hear a speech about how she's been scared to tell me and all this stuff. Lets just say it hurt but I'm happy for her because she is a great person. I just wish I didn't have those feelings...

I hate the feeling of going into an IVF cycle when you have been through one before. I hope you can get an appt with the MFM. I'm sure you'll get over that he's a male. All of my REs were males and it never really bothered me and now my gyn is a male. I used to go to the female gyn in the practice but she never really took her time and I LOVE the male I switched to. Sorry you are having to deal with a pregnant friend. It was caring of her though to know that this is a sensitive subject for you.

I'm trying a new thing with eggs. I saw on facebook where you bake your eggs instead of hardboil them. I'm trying out just one so if it doesn't work out I don't waste a ton of eggs. Tomorrow DD2 has a speech contest. She has to write, memorize and present a 3-5 minute speech and is judged on it. The topic is "Someone who overcame" so she is doing it on Bethany Hamilton, the surfer who lost her arm after getting it bitten off by a shark. I always get so nervous for them doing it. Tomorrow after school we are going to help for a bit decorate the gala that's on Saturday. It's the biggest fundraiser for the private school here. Usually the night raises $100,000. They have a live and silent auction, dinner, DJ and dance. It's like an adult prom. Tomorrow night DH and I are going to a dinner theatre. The girls are going to their aunt and uncles for the weekend so it will be nice to have a weekend with DH.

The egg worked!! Supposedly it makes it so the shells don't stick and there is no green and your yolk is even. My shell stuck a little bit but I used newer eggs. I have some older eggs that I'm planning on using for Easter.

Anyone doing anything to get ready for spring:

A few weeks ago I planted some seeds - herbs of all different kinds. I have a window box above my sink. I need to get everything else on it and use it as my greenhouse as we are still completely covered in snow. I love fresh herbs.

Also I have been working on some crafty projects I need to finish... painted t-shirts.

I need to find an easter basket for the boys. I got mostly german chocolates from Aldi's (and not a lot of them).

Gotta get ready for church. I have been busy since starting back to work and so much resonsibility has fallen on DH's shoulders but he is doing great. I worried how I would do with the babies and Luke yesterday after a tiring first week and we had a blast. There is always someone crying or yelling mommy at our house though. Its crazy, but I love it and I am so thankful that I decided (and could) have implanted two and got twins. Not sure if I could ever put myself through pregnancy and newbornhood again, though.
