This is actually the second time she gets sick on vacation. Last time we went to disney she got what we believe to be strep throat! She had 104 fever and we even had to take her to first aide in the park. I dont think she respnds well to public pools. She always gets sick but at the same time u cant deny it so it sucks!

It seems like someone in our family gets sick when going to big amusement parks. When we went to Universal Studios I came down with a nasty cold. Too many germs! On the cruise no one got sick but Disney Cruise was very good about handing out sani-wipes before each meal. There was one person in front of each restuarant who's job it was to stand there and hand out wipes to everyone.

I need to vent....and I can vent because I've been in the same situation. I'm getting tired of people asking for money to fund their IVF treatments. DH got a private facebook message from someone he barely knows and has never met telling her story of TTC for 4 years and the RE says their only option is IVF. In there she directly asks for money. It's not like she sent this to all of her friends, she sent it to 4 ppl. It makes me wonder if she picked him out because she knows he's a physician since she is a physician recruiter. He said he'd like to respond back saying he knows what it's like to be in the situation as he spent $100K on IF treatment and has nothing to show for it. He's just planning on ignoring it. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

My sister is going through a divorce. She listed her house on Friday and it sold tonight already. On Monday she had 2 showings and yesterday had at least 5 showings. That's one more thing she can get off her back. I can't believe how fast it sold!

WOW! The nerve of some people. I don't think I could have even asked my family to fund IVF for us.

Good news on your sister's house selling so fast. That is awesome.

I would have to agree. I mean I would even have trouble asking my own family for help with IVF.

That's great news for your sister!!

AFM- I'm starting to panic a little about the progesterone shots. I am having a very hard time knowing I may have to do it. UGH, I find out for sure tomorrow.

I could never do the progesterone shots on my own. I could do all the others but that one was too intimidating. Did you use the suppositories in your other cycles? I never minded the shot if someone else gave it to me. My sister was going to have to do PIO shots for someone near our lake house. A lady stopped us saying her daughter was going to be visiting for a couple weeks and was pregnant after IVF and was wondering if we knew someone who could do them. Since my sister just moved close by, she was going to do them. It ended up that they were weaning her off her shots so she didn't need them done.

It is very hot here! It sounds like it's hot everywhere though. Hope everyone is staying cool!

Awesome! Congrats on your job that is excellent news!! Yeah it's brutal here too! It was over 100 and with the humidity I think they said felt like 110. They are saying its going to "cool down"after today so let's see.

Picked up all the meds today. Looks like RE is bumping up dosages because it was more than last time. It still seems so surreal that I am doing this all over again.

I used crinone (which was a cream) last time but since I am have cervical issues I believe it wasn't the best fit for me now. So I will be doing shots now, and if I get pregnant pretty much all of my pregnancy with a short break after 12 weeks. I am just worried that DH is going to put it in slowly because he's nervous and make it worse.

Margaret...good luck tomorrow on your new job!

Mari...wishing you tons of luck this cycle and beyond! The PIO shots can be very intimidating but they aren't really that bad. Make sure to warm up the PIO and the injection site. Massage the site after injection and rotate sites. I had my DH inject it very slowly.

The girls and I got home today from the lake. We had a fun weekend with my family. We had a bday celebration last night for my sister and I's bday. I got lots of neat clothes and other things. I have a new wardrobe for our Vegas trip next week. On Wednesday DH and I are going to do my 31 mile bikeride.
