Mari - just thinking, and I really hope not, but has your DD been tested for diabetes? I have had 2 friends in the last week that have had their kids diagnosed and it all started showing by UTIs.

No it has never been brought up, not even by the specialist. She actually wasnt too concerned and just told me the next step was to determine if it was a reflux issue.

surviving...about as good as it gets right now... I see my psychologist on Friday for the first time.

Mari - that is good that the specialist was not too concerned.

Good to hear from your Margaret.

Mari..hope your daughter has just had a run of bad luck with the UTIs and they will resolve. Does she take bubble baths? That can be a common cause in young girls.

DD2 had another cross country meet last night. I'm not sure how she did. It was SOOOO windy so that was pretty tough for her. She has 2 meets left. I think she's kind of bummed that she only has two weeks left. I'm happy she is enjoying it so much. On Saturday both DD1 and 2 march in a marching band competition. It's pretty fun to watch. It's a really long parade but is interesting because of all the bands.

    Preg mentioned....

Please say a prayer (if you are a praying person) for a couple in my town. The wife is currently 24 weeks pregnant with twins. I'm thinking they are IVF babies. One of the amniotic sacs broke around one of the babies. She is now in the hospital on complete bedrest. The goal is to make it to at least 28 weeks with the one baby. They'll deliver the one baby, then hopefully keep the other one in to bake a little longer. That'd be crazy to have twins weeks apart.

So sorry about the couple in your town. How scary!

Hey ladies. I'm here and alive! LOL! I've been crazy tired lately! Very stressed out due to work so haven't been on much. Have my first OB appt today. I was released from RE on Friday, and I'm 10 weeks today. I will KUP...

Meg-DD hasn't taken baths in over a year. I was told absolutely no baths by the dr.

Mari...congrats on graduating from the RE. Let us know how your OB appt goes.

DD2 has her 2nd to last cross country meet today. It's in the same town my aunt and cousin lives so they are going to come watch her. This will be a simple meet since it's just middle school. I just back in from a short run this morning. I'm doing a 5K on Saturday so I figure I better run at least once before it. DD1 and 2 were in a marching band competition on Saturday. They got 2nd place in their class. They actually tied with the first place. DD2 was quite mad they got 2nd...she is our competitive child. It's a fun parade to watch. It's about 2 1/2 hours long but goes by pretty fast. Hope everyone is doing well.

Appt went well. Got to see my little one again. I see the high risk dr on the 20th (well I think I do) I have the NT scan at his office. I was told by my OB that my last month of work should be this month. I was very surprised by it. She feels I'm too high risk and my job is basically too stressful and demanding. I'm confused because the high risk doctor had made it seem like I should continue life as normal after he puts the cerclage in, and now the OB is saying no. So I don't know who to listen to.

I must say I'm having a very hard time at work this year with behavior so it might be best to just leave, so I'm seriously considering it. I already sent an email to the lady at our board office about what I have to do incase I leave this month, so I'm waiting back. WWYD? Would you listen to the OB or high risk dr?

I would error on the side of caution. You do not need the added stress of work right now. Hugs.
