You have a big family. Children/pregnancy mentioned...it seems like all of my cousins got pregnant on accident before they were married. Then I try to do things in the right order and can't succeed.
We have so many boxelder bugs on our house. I think it's because the farmers are harvesting the crops so they are all coming out of the fields. They attract to the front of our house since the sun shines on it. I went out our garage door and had so many flying at me it felt like I was getting confetti thrown on me on my wedding day.
ETA...I googled boxelder bugs and they are trying to get in our house for the winter. They attract to the southern sunny sides of buildings. Our garage door is covered in them by mid-day.
Not sure what boxelder bugs look like, but I am guessing gross. I hate bugs!
I have to drop off a form today and mail in my contract extension for work. It is kind of funny. I am on a contract and so they really don't have to extend my contract with me being on disability. They have extended it twice so far (with me being on leave). If I don't get a new job soon I will have to go in and write an exam. Due to dealing with tax laws we get tested every 6 months with a 2 hour exam.
We were married 7 years before we had Luke - tried for a long time to conceive him and I was in my 20s. I didn't even consider that we would have difficulty getting pregnant until we tried. Everyone in my family seems to get pregnant by accident. It seemed like everyone in our families were overwhelmed by the children in their lives.
(preg ment) Well, I have 6 sisters and they just seem to get pregnant the moment they think of having another one. That is why it is so stressful for me. Even though I have known of my issues forever it still never really sunk in until I wanted to get pregnant.
I went with the eye exam today. They have all my tests etc and since I am diabetic I figured continuity is best. Slight change in prescription. The reading part of my bifocals has increased a bit. Picked out new frames - they are purple. Will get them in about 2 weeks. The good thing with it only being a slight change I can still wear my old glasses.
(vent, child ment) so today I was at the mall by our place. I saw my MIL there, now she lives no where near us and er have no contact with her. Sean's dad died when he was 3 and today is my FIL's birthday. Last year on this day she showed up at the boy's school at recess. I am worried she went there today without our permission. Ugh!
Boxelder bugs are black and red bugs that fly. They aren't that big. They are just annoying and get in the house when you open the door. We've just been leaving a car out of the garage and hurrying in through the front door real fast.
You wonder why IF has to affect certain ppl and then there are others who can get pregnant so easily. Frustrating.
Margaret...So did MIL go to the school today? That does seem a little strange that she was around without you knowing. Purple glasses sound fun!
DH and I have been painting all day and still need to put the final coat on the fireplace trim pieces. It's looking good though. Need to put the final coat on tomorrow. We had painted the wall above the mantel the blue color and didn't like it now repainted it the orange color. I'm still trying to figure out that side of the room and what I think would look best. I think the way we know have it is the best because if it was blue the hangings would just blend in. I'm trying to get used to the blue color also. When I had been thinking blue I was thinking a lighter blue but at the paint store it didn't look good so I got a darker/brighter color. It's just change to get used to. I think once we have the room put back together it will look more finished. DH also put up our new ceiling fan. Tomorrow the carpet comes for another room I've been redoing. I'll post before/after pics of everything. Poor DH finally gets a couple days off and I put him to work at home.
No, she didn't go to the school. I will post pictures of my new glasses when I get them. I debated between 2 pairs and finally picked the all purple ones, the other pair was green and purple.
Friday I have another appointment with my specialist dentist to see if the splint is helping the tmj. She was supposed to send a letter my job about needing accommodations to stay working. Then we have a couple's counselling session.
I had an email about the new job today and they will make a decision next week.
And I am going for the blood test tomorrow.
Are your glasses plastic frames? I have such a hard time picking out glasses. I've had plastic frames in the past and the last time I picked out metal ones. I'm back to wearing my old glasses because I never got used to the metal frames. I'm sure if I would just suck it up and wear the metal ones they'd be fine. I wear contacts everyday so I just wear my glasses for a short time at night and in the morning.
How is your TMJ with the splint? Can you tell an improvement? I've never had TMJ but I know it can be very difficult to treat and painful.
Hope you find out some good news about the job next week. It's nice that they sent an email update.
The new frames are plastic. Have't had plastic frames in a long time. They felt really comfortable so that is good.
The TMJ comes and goes, some days I am in a lot of pain, others I am pretty good. A lot of it depends on my stress level, which right now is high.
I will go later this morning to have my blood test, I have BFN when I POAS so I pretty much know that I will start the meds tomorrow. Oh well, just puts me closer the the hsg.
Margaret...how was your beta? I get my glasses at Wal-mart since they have a 60 day guarentee on glasses. I really should've taken the metal frames back and exchanged them for plastic. My problem with the metal ones is the nose pieces hurt after a while. Since I mostly wear them at night after I take out my contacts I'm laying on the couch and the plastic ones are so much more comfortable. Child mentioned...2 of my DDs have glasses. One loves metal and the other plastic. I have to agree with the one that loves plastic that they are much more comfortable. I never believed her until I got metal frames again.
We got all of our painting done. It looks really nice. I want to show all of you pics but want to wait until I get my new wall hangings so everything is finished. Hopefully I get a shipping update soon, or maybe they'll just show up on my step.
DH has had the last 2 days off of work but I've had him working here. He's off tomorrow and the weekend also so at least he can rest now. He could've worked tomorrow but turned it down.
I'm looking forward tot he season premiere of "Grey's Anatomy."
