View outside my bedroom window, the brown building in the upper right corner is the school.
Here are some before/after pics of my family room project. We got the wall hangings today. Once the lighting coming through the windows gets better I'll take one of another view.
We painted the brass around the fireplace, it looks so much better.
We also replaced the ceiling fan/light
Margaret...I understand now. You have to jump through a whole bunch of hoops to get something done. I could see you being concerned about development. Yeah for snow!!! How much snow do you typically get?
Yup, lots of hoops to jump through but it is all good in the end.
The snow we have now will probably melt but but mid-November until April we get about 12-18 inches that stays the entire time. Some winters are worse. I went to university in a snow belt, there we would get constant dumps of 12" at a time but it would melt in the city until the next storm. Here once it is cold then we have snow and cold for about 5 months.
Love the after pics of your living room. The wall colours make it look like you have all new furniture and brightens up the room. I have at least 2 of the same willowtree statues, can't make out the smaller ones.
Here is the other view. It's really hard lighting with the windows.
Margaret...good luck today with your HSG! Hope you are feeling better!
Meg, your family room looks beautiful! I love the colours! Makes it look warm and cozy. :) We are currently making some changes in our kitchen.
Whoops! Double post.
Yup, after 2 days in bed I feel a lot better. I can't believe how much I slept the last 2 days.
