Tiffany...I like the Honda Odyssey, it's a sharp looking van. We drive a Chrysler Town and Country. We are exploring options for when we trade our current van. We have always driven a Dodge/Chrysler. We looked at the Toyota Sienna when we traded our car and like the comfort of that a lot and that it and the Honda have the 8 passenger option. But the thing that keeps us with the Dodge/Chrysler is that it has the Stow 'n Go. We love that we can have a middle seat folded down but then if needed when we are somewhere we can put it up. From looking at prices, I think Chrysler has the most options for the money for us. Both the Toyota and Honda don't look "vanny" which is nice. I'm thinking about what vehicle I'll want to drive when the kids are out of the house and I can still imagine me with a van. It's so nice to have when hauling stuff back and forth to our lake house.

That is scary that your pt stalked you. I guess whatever is out there is public info, still scary.

Margaret...hope you get some news about one of the jobs. Even if they aren't going to hire you, it'd still be nice for them to let you know. I'd like a little snow. If it's going to be cold, a little snow would be nice.

It's supposed to be 70 on Saturday and in the 40's on Sunday. At yoga this morning the ladies were saying how we aren't going to get much snow this winter. It sounds good but the ground needs the moisture. Someone said someone dug down 12 feet and still hadn't hit any water. That's how dry the ground is.

@ Tiffany- That is kind of creepy!!! You may have to have a fake name... like a celebrity! :)

So the total snow we got was 10 inches! and that was in about 6 hours!

On the pt stalking thing Tiffany...one time DH had a pt find him on Facebook and sent him a Facebook message with his various complaints. Since then DH really has nothing to do with Facebook and has changed his settings so they are very private.

I have not had any patients specifically reach out to me on Facebook, but I would answer back that they should call the office or 911 if they ever did. For my generation, facebook is a really valuable tool and allows me to keep in touch with family.

We only considered cars that were top safety picks. After almost losing my sister in a horrible car accident, we at least want to think we are doing everything we can to keep ourselves safe. I think the Dodge, Toyota and Honda minivans all meet those requirements. And, it was a splurge.

Margaret - that is an incredible amount of snow in such a short time. It might be starting to get cold enough here soon that the snow might stick, if it fell. But I don't think they get snow that fast around here very often.

That much snow in that little time is a ridiculous amount. I like a few big snowstorms a year. We lucked out last year that we didn't have much. I don't think there were any snow days for school. The year before I think there were about 12 snow days they had to make up. We live in a very rural area so lots of students travel from out of town.

How do you like your van Tiffany?

We got eggnog yesterday and it is so good. I need to watch myself with it so I don't drink too much because of the extra calories. It's the lite kind and I remind myself it's just like drinking a glass of milk when I think about the calories in it. It really doesn't have much more than a glass of milk and I also get the calcium like milk. I'm not a milk drinker at all. When we were TTC I was good about drinking a glass a night with dinner. I should get back into that habit.

I see that Miley Cyrus is going to be on Two and a Half Men tonight. I'm thinking of doing her hair cut/style for the summer. I really like it.

That much snow in that short of time is not usual here. I went to university in a snow belt and we got that kind of snow all the time. The big thing here is once there is that much snow it stays until March-April. I had never heard of snow mold until I moved out here. I was used to a big snow then it would melt and repeat. They do not do snow days here, schools are always open, the school is right behind us so it is no issue. Growing up we had a few (more like ice days) but we never had to make up time.

I love egg nog but it does not like me. I have a milk protein allergy so unless it is cheese or yogurt I have issues.

The lite Eggnog was pretty good. I used to take regular eggnog and put some milk in it to thin it out a bit. Then I got to liking the thick regular eggnog better. Eggnog with some Southern Comfort in it is pretty good also. The only reason I bought eggnog this early in the season is because it was only 50 cents since the sell by date was the day I bought it. I can't pass up a deal like that, we'll just have to drink it faster :)

I'm headed to the student led mass in a bit. I go pretty much every Friday even though I'm not Catholic. I think it's because it's something DH and I have been doing since we dated. Then we go out for coffee after. I think I more-so go because I know I'm going out for coffee afterwards. DH makes it when he can, if he's not in the ER.

Egg Nog with Southern Comfort? I may have to try that!
What is everyone up to this weekend? Me- I am waiting for AF to arrive so I can get on with my IUI. I have a friend in town, so we are all going out this evening. Should be fun to catch up. Tomorrow, I am tackling our office. I am re-organizing it. Lots of work but will be worth it. Then we are getting a new couch. Very excited for this. Ours looks nice but it is cheaply made and it is just painful to sit on. Can't wait for a new comfy one, so I can cuddle on the couch with a fire going in the fire place!!
