Tiffany...we have 4 of those sprial trees in our yard lining the driveway and it looks really neat. Could you do something like that. They are pretty simple to take up and down. I also put some net lights on our bushes. I have a red and white theme going.

Child mentioned...I really wished I knew if they knew about Santa. DH is getting tired hearing me complain that I think it's ridiculous if they still believe. When we were talking about it the girls were in bed and I heard a door open and close upstairs. Maybe one of them heard us talking. You'd think the girls would be embarrassed to think he is real if their friends are talking about him.

DH bought 2 powerball tickets today. I think this is the 2nd time we have ever bought a ticket. It's fun to dream even though our odds are 1 in 176 million. I got a haircut today and I'm going to start growing my hair out so I can do Miley Cyrus' short do in the summer. I need to grow out the top so I didn't get that cut. Once it gets long enough, then I will have my back and sides shaved. So she cut my back and sides really short and left the top uncut. I'm excited for it once it finally gets there. Then I can do all kinds of funky colors in the summer.

Meg- I agree it's fun to dream a little bit about the Powerball. DH bought a ticket and whenever he does that (which isn't often) we have the "what if.." conversation. Fun stuff. I'm so jealous you are doing the Miley cut! I think it's so cool but I'm just not brave enough to try something like that. My brother is getting married in 2 weeks so I have been keeping my hair long to do some type of updo. I actually like to keep it longish (barely past my shoulders) because I love to do various updos myself. Also- updos mean I don't have to wash my hair in the am and I can sleep in lol My job requires me to leave home by 6:30am so I try to sleep as long as possible.

I like keeping my hair shoulder length so I can do it up, but I need some new ideas. And whatever I do has to be fast. I need to do some reading on my options. I don't have time to wash it every morning.

Maybe tonight we can try hard to find some spiral trees. They didn't have them at Walmart or Target.

Of our three sets of numbers we only had one matching number.

I have had my hair short more of my life than long. When my hair is long it is think, wavy and stringy. When I have it short it is really thick so I have to get it thinned out a ton. People think having short hair is fast and easy but it actually takes a lot of work. I get a lot of "that hairstyle must be so easy." You have to get it cut more often and I have to blow-dry and flat-iron it every day. And wash it everyday since I use pomade and hairspray. Once I get to the Miley stage it will be the shortest I've ever had but the longest I've had it in a long time at the same time. I like to do funky hairstyles. When I was in highschool I had it super short and dyed it fuschia, blue and other colors.

Tiffany...try Menards for trees. I know they had them at ours.

We had my parents and grandparents up for dinner last night. It was a really nice evening. We had a ham we wanted to bake. It was fun to have people in our house since it's decorated for Christmas.

Yuck! For the last 2 days I have woken up throwing up, a few hours later I feel ok.... not fun.

Tomorrow night is the Christmas party for Sean's work. Looking forward to it.

Saw my tmj dentist today and my jaw is doing so much better! I can open to 32mm (most adults open to 40mm) and that is much better then 18 when I first saw her. No more appointments until March!

As I said on Facebook I'm glad your jaw is improving. Sorry to hear you are feeling sick. Sounds like it's not too long lived. Maybe it's a little morning sickness, but that may be too soon. You can only hope.

Today the "low brake fluid" light came on in our car that has 1500 miles on it. Luckily we were going to the dealership when it came on to wash it. After waiting for 1 hr 25 min we found out that they need to replace a part. Must be a faulty sensor.

Margaret...have fun at the party. Can't wait to hear all about it.

Sean thinks it is m/s. I tend to get it from the moment of conception but I am trying not to get my hopes up.

I will definitely post about the party and probably pictures of me and my honey.

I think that is one of the things I hated most about TTC - the hope at the end of each month, even if I tried not to be hopeful... it was exquisitely painful for me.

This week past quickly at work... just have a few more patients to see and then it is the weekend. Yay!

Because of scheduling I basically have the morning off... not sure what I want to do... maybe we will try to find some Christmas lights.

Oh, and looks like DH may have found work. I really hope it works out for him, but part of me is worried about how we are going to get stuff done around here if it does end up working out.

    Woot! Post 1000! LOL!

Finally heard that I have my THIRD interview for the one company on Tuesday at 10 am. This is the one to see how I would work with the person who currently holds the position (and needs help, they are so busy). Pretty sure that if all goes well that I will have an offer that day, She was out of the country and then really sick so I am glad that I have been patient.

I was supposed to go to a funeral today. One of my old roommates from Uni twin sister's ex-husband passed away. (Did I confuse you yet? ) But it is north of the city we are having another snow storm and the funeral is at 2 and we have to leave at 5 for the party. I am hoping to see my old roommate or at least talk with her on the phone while she is in the area.
