Jenni...I'm sure you can't concentrate enough to work because today is a very exciting day!

Today we are going to go to a water park hotel in another city for the night and come home tomorrow. Sunday is my mom's bday so we'll probably see her sometime then.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

    Hey, this is so exciting!

I bashed my toe on the fireplace hearth last week. Saw the dr and thank goodness xrays showed it was only bruised not broken toe. It's getting a lot better now!

For this weekend, I'm gonna walk in the Transplant Trot 5k to promote organ donation awareness and Sunday, I will try runnning in the morning (only 5-6k) and then I'm gonna go and volunteer at the Kidney March Expo. I walked the 100k at the inarguaral 3 day Kidney March, then last year I volunteered there for the 3 days. This year, I'm volunteering as Crew!

Yes, this board is on a hot streak! It's about time! Good luck on Monday Mimi. Do you plan on testing ahead of time?

I've been super busy with house guests, work, and usual stuff. I am starting the next cycle in a few days. I went back to the RE for baseline last week and everything was good to go. I also went back to acupuncture, which I started last summer after the first m/c, back when I thought my tubes were fixed enough from the surgery. Obviously it didn't result in a pregnancy, although my cycles were more perfect than they'd ever been. Anyone else tried acupuncture? My RE said he doesn't have an opinion either way, and if I wanted to do it, go ahead. I've read that it can help with IVF success and I figure I need all the help I can get! At any rate, I feel very relaxed afterwards. Of course the acupuncturist reports lots of success.

Right now, I am still not nervous or excited or anything. Well, I am a bit nervous about missing work and rearranging my schedule. But, about the cycle, I really don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm not feeling negative, either. I have a feeling that will change when the 2WW starts, though. I am doing higher doses of stims this time. My drugs are waiting in the fridge and in the closet!

In other news, my husband recently got a new job and will likely be in between jobs during retrieval/transfer if all goes well. So that is good, since I don't have any family nearby to help. I was already thinking ahead about try #3-our current insurance covers 3 tries. We may have to pay for cobra to extend the coverage, but it really wasn't too expensive (for just me, anyway). I got it confirmed last week that our insurance will continue as it is if we go to cobra. It's in my head that we have 3 tries, and I just needed to know I still have round 3 if needed/wanted, if this round does not end the way we want it.

My husband is very excited about his new job opportunity, and my biggest concern is if I will still have IVF coverage! Yes, I know I am ridiculous, but I am old, my ovaries are older and this won't wait!

Sophia, owie about your toe! Glad it's not broken and good luck in your race tomorrow.

Meg, sounds like you have a nice weekend planned! And Jenni, congrats again!

Ouch Sophia!!! Glad your toe wasn't broken. Toe/feet injuries hurt the worst!! How was the 5K and event?

Kara...I never tried acupuncture. I just never felt compelled to and the closet one that specializes in IF stuff is 2 hrs away. If it helps you relax, go for it! There have been ladies on here who have done acupuncture and thinks it helped. I always got so stressed arranging schedules around an IVF cycle also. With my DH's job he couldn't be gone because being the only ER doc scheduled he can't really leave town. Congrats on DH getting a new job! Will you be relocating? That's great the COBRA will stay the same so you do have that 3rd shot (hoping you don't need it). Insurance coverage is a big deal when you are talking IVF.

Mimi...I'll be thinking about you tomorrow morning. Are you going to POAS before you go? Hoping for some good news from you.

    Jenni...How are you doing?

We had a fun time at the hotel. I didn't swim. I'm not a huge swimmer. I just like sitting in the hot tub for a bit and I didn't feel like it was worth $15 to buy a wristband to do so. We bought a new iMac yesterday so we spent forever last night trying to move our iTunes music over to it. It was a complete PIA but we got it figured out this morning with a click of the mouse. Funny how you get so frustrated and just walk away and come back and it works. Plus our internet service stinks right now so we can't even reallyuse that computer. DH is going to go get a new modem from the cable company tomorrow and see if that fixes it. It's my mom's bday today so my mom and dad are coming to our house for dinner. We are going to grill.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Wow. Busy board. Sending sticky vibes.

Did well transporting my meds via airlines. Found a beautiful house where we will be moving this summer.

I love that quote from Mimi's mil re: god's plan.

I'm thinking about you today Mimi!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be back later to catch up. Everything is still going well with me. Still in shock. Getting a little nervous about my numbers tomorrow but there's no reason to believe that they will be anything but wonderful!
