Quick update here- today is my last day on BCP. Expecting AF early this week.. but even if it doesn't show we'll start stimming 8/25. I'm excited we're moving along but not too excited to start the serious meds... I was on Follistim for 2 cycles earlier this year and had pretty serious bloating so RE said to expect the same this cycle. I was pretty uncomfortable, couldn't exercise, etc. so not looking forward to that, especially since I've been pretty devoted to a running program since April, but all for the cause right?
How is everyone's weekend going? I had a bridal shower for my (future) sister-in-law today but tomorrow we're planning on taking it easy- very much looking forward to that!
Meg- thanks for pointing out the "like" button- I wouldn't have noticed! Becoming even more facebooky on here![]()

So exciting that you get to start stimming soon! The fear with exercising during an IVF cycle is an ovarian torsion. Since your ovaries are swollen you have a risk of twisting it and cutting off blood supply to your ovaries. How did you respond to the Follistim during your IUI cycles?
I had a wedding shower yesterday for a wedding on Sept. 15. It was in the morning and they served breakfasty type food. It was reallly nice. I didn't feel well yesterday. Idk if I have a little bit of a stomach virus or gastritis from stress or food. DH made me chicken noodle soup last night which tasted really good. I'm not nauseous or anything just stomach pains. Today it's quite a bit better but still there. Kind of feels like dagers in my guts. We really aren't doing much this weekend. DH is on call so he's been in and out. Right now he's working on putting together our two new lawnmowers. Not like there is any grass to mow since we've been in a drought, but this way they'll be ready when we want to mow.
There have been many times where I wished there was a "like" button. Now we have one!

Marisol...hoping to see a nice rise in your beta numbers today!
I made it out for a run this morning. DH rode his bike beside me since he's on-call. That way if he got paged he could hurry home on his bike and make it to the hospital in his 20 min limit. I thought maybe him riding beside me would make me go faster since I'd have to keep up with him. I have 3 5K's coming up. I really want to be able to run it all instead of walk/run like I did with my first two. I'll be starting week 4 of C25K program. I need to get my house cleaned up. It's not messy, just need to dust and do that kind of stuff. My house cleaning kind of gets neglected in the summer because we are here so little.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Meg-thanks! Of course I'm still waiting, and trying so hard to keep myself busy. I was going to start setting up my classroom today but decided to just wait for results. I will start tomorrow. Got cramping and everyone says how normal it is but when you have been trying for so long you don't want to feel AF type cramps! They come and go and are very dull, but they still stink!!!
Meg #2...LOL! So exciting! I wish you the very best in this cycle!!!!
