It would be a financial analyst for an industrial company. I would do everything from credit applications to collections. It would be back in the private sector, right now I work for the federal government in Canada's version of the IRS.

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? Tomorrow morning DH and I are going to go check out city wide garage sales in a small town nearby. Then in the afternoon we have a wedding. That's about all. DH is working until tomorrow morning at 8, then he has the rest of the weekend off. It will be nice to have him be off a weekend and be home. Usually when he has a weekend off we are gone somewhere.

Luke and Eric are going to run in a fun run this afternoon. Soccer starts tomorrow.

After soccer we are going to head down to Minneapolis for some shopping and fun.

Survived my first week. Could have used your husband's expertise on a paronychia drainage today. Did I learn anything in IM residency?

Tiffany...I had to google what that was. That sounds like something he'd enjoy. He likes that skin/nail stuff. When he worked in the clinic ppl would request him to remove toenails since he was so good at it. I had him remove an ingrown toenail of mine once and I think my foot was numb the rest of the day. He numbed it up really good and the ingrown nail didn't come back. Have fun shopping Mpls. Anywhere in particular you are going? We'll be up there the last weekend of Oct. We are going to stay one night at the waterpark hotel.

Good luck with the job. Have fun shopping. Glad work is going well. A wedding and a garage sale - sounds like my kind of day. Day two of couchrest over. So bored but so thankful co?sidering the alternative. Tomorrow is football on TV. Hoping DH will let me out of the house Still in shock that I'm PUPO. OH friends and family have stepped up. Even got beautiful flowers. Thinking of everyone.

Jenni...glad couchrest is almost over. Bedrest always sounds so heavenly, being able to get waited on and do nothing, but when you are actually on it, it's horrible. I would get so much back/abd pain from bloating and laying around. I still get like that when I sleep too long. Actually bedrest was one of the things I looked forward to during my IVF cycles, until I came down to it. Glad your friends and family are being supportive now. Hope DH takes you out of the house and you can do something fun.

I just found out that DH actually gets off work at 8pm tonight instead of 8am tomorrow. Looked at his schedule wrong...oops. I'm glad he realized it instead of just waiting around home and never getting paged because he was actually never on call. I think we'll go out for dinner when he gets off. Children mentioned....All of the girls are spending the night with friends so we are by ourselves. Too bad Finding Nemo's at the theatre, otherwise we could go to the movie.

Jenni - We did not really have bedrest after the first evening, and even that was hard for me. I would be so anxious to get out. DH can check football updates on his phone so he does not seem so attached to the TV as when we first met. Glad you are finally getting some support. We did not tell family about our cycle and our friends knew we were keeping it quiet, so I just relied on support from DH who did a pretty good job. Seems like that was about the time our vacation planning hit full swing.

Margaret - Hope you get the job!!!

Meg - I love skin lesions but hate nail lesions.

(preg ment) Had some scary contractions yesterday and I was going to put myself on bedrest for the weekend, but I cannot just sit and do nothing. Gonna bring a chair with me to soccer practice, and look for something really comfy to bring with me to events like that occurring this fall.

Alright... we're off! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Tiffany...hope your contractions stay away, that'd be pretty scary.

We went garage saling this morning and really there wasn't much at the city wide garage sales. We were done within 30 minutes. We bought a plate of cookies in that town. On the way home we stopped at a couple others and found a few things. I got a Fossil purse with tags still on for $5. That was my bargain. Then we went and had coffee at the coffee shop. It's such a beautiful day here.

Today has been the looongest day ever! Last minute DH picked up a 24 hr shift out of town. He left at 6am this morning and won't be home until tomorrow morning at 8am. He picked it up last night. They actually wanted him the whole weekend but since we had the wedding he couldn't do it, nor did he want to give up a nice Saturday. Thankfully my parents called and invited us to go out to brunch with them, my sister and her boyfriend and my grandpa. That broke up the long day. I've just been sitting around, watching TV and trying to finish my book. I've done some laundry also. I look around my house and it's picked up so I don't even have that to do. That's what I get for staying on top of my house. I know I shouldn't complain at all about being bored, but it just makes for a long day when DH is gone. I just got back from a run. I kept making excuses for myself and putting it off all day until I ate too much for dinner so decided to go. I'm doing much better with running. I ran 1.8 miles today which is 1/2 mile further than what I ran the last two times all at once. Hopefully with each run I'll better my time and increase my distance.

The wedding last night was so-so. The wedding was nice and so was the reception until the dance started. It was so loud and there was so much drunkeness. I must be getting old because I find that behavior very intolerable. We didn't stay too long once the dance started.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I hope to finish my book tonight and watch "The Great Food Truck Race" and "Breaking Amish."
