Go Jenni!!!! That is awesome. Both you and hubby are doing great!!!

I love IKEA. Yes, there are times I hate it. But when you do need to buy a ton of stuff and you don't normally splurge, it is so nice to get everything in one crazy visit.

I love IKEA and always spend way more then I expect. I live pretty close to one so I can go often.

Jenni - your weight loss is inspiring! Great job!

In the "ugh" department... my supposedly best friend texted me while I was dealing with the funeral saying that she needed me back home to help her deal with her crap!!! She has so much drama going on in her life. I have tried to be understanding, I have tried to help her - tell her where to get help, what resources there is, etc. Tonight I told her that I just can not deal with her drama anymore. I am just too drained by it all, it adds stress to my family. Not surprising she sent back a whiny message back...

(child ment) Robbie saw the child psych today. He thinks that Robbie has Aspergers, Sean is actually being tested for it soon (strange at 37 but it will help both of us understand how Sean deals with stuff). We go back and see him in December.

Two job interviews this week. One that was postponed from last week for bookkeeping and one for a different bank then I worked for before but doing a similar job.

    Margaret-
So how will they confirm the diagnosis for Aspergers for Robbie? You do have your plate full and your best friend needs to be there for YOU! Sounds like she is being a little selfish. Lots of luck at your interviews!

Children mentioned...a couple years ago we redid our girls' toy area and made it into a study area since they were getting more homework and weren't playing with their toys anymore. We bought all the desks and stuff from IKEA for it. That was a big trip...everything x 3.

Margaret...I'm sorry your friend is making her issues your issues. Sounds like you've tried to help her and she doesn't listen. You have enough going on right now that you don't need unnecessary drama. If your son has Asperger's it's good they are diagnosing it early. Sometimes I wonder if DD1 has something like that. Just with the way she communicates and does some of the things she does. I don't think I could ever bring that issue up with DH though because I don't think he sees it, or if he does he'd deny it and say she's just "quiet." That's what a lot of her gets put off on...that's she's shy and quiet. I know it'd be better to get a dx if that's what she has because then we'd know how to deal with things.

Tiffany...there's a groupon today for the waterpark hotel in Mpls if you are at all interested. I'd buy it but it has to be used by sometime in January and we won't have time to get up that way again before then. But then again it'd be just as cheap for you to go to the waterpark since you live close by and wouldn't need the hotel.

Margaret - I have had some friends like that over the years. I have one who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years into our friendship. Before she had had the occasional depression. Needless to say there was a lot more drama in her life stemming from that. She did get better but when I talk to her on the phone lately I can tell something is up and it isn't good. And with everything in my life I can't really help her. It is sad, but she goes to support groups and is going to have to find new supportive friends. When she was initially diagnosed I was a medical student working 110 hour weeks on surgery and really could not deal with her stuff - at all. I had to keep myself afloat. So, my two cents is that you have enough on your plate and need to take care of you and your family. Good luck with your interviews.

Meg - I haven't been buying groupons lately because I never know if I am actually going to use them. When the kids are bigger and we are spending a lot of time in the cities, I will change my tune because I love saving money and trying new places. Restaurant.com also has some amazing deals... and you can always get a good discount off their coupons by going to restaurants.com first.

I think I've only bought one groupon and that was for our Sedona horseback ride. I bought a few things off of restaurant.com and you can get cheap certficates by getting their coupon codes.

Thanks everyone for your comments regarding my friend. I had already decided when I wrote the post that she was not part of my life anymore. The drama of everything is too much and with all I am dealing with - IUI cycle, my mom, looking for work, etc it is too much.

Kate - I am not sure what testing they will do. Basically the psychiatrist said "if they walk before they talk it is autism, and if the talk before they walk it is aspergers". I am doing a bunch of reading now, partly to try and understand Sean.

Dressed up as a witch tonight for my Brownie group. So tired now...

Margaret...did other ppl dress up also? I'm dressing up as St. Pauli Girl and DH is dressing up as Sam Adams for our party on Saturday. When are your job interviews? Good luck!

DH and I are going to mow and hopefully pick up the last of the leaves for the year. It's kind of cold right now-29 degrees so we'll have to bundle up.

I'm sorry about the situation with your friend. I am glad that you feel at peace about what you feel you need to do. It's a hard decision but you have to do what's best for you and your family. I hope you get answers about DS and DH soon.

Have fun at the party Meg! DH has a BBQ competition about an hour west of my parents on Sat. Not terribly sure how it's going to go for him with our lifestyle change but I'm sure he will manage. We'll drive down Friday and he'll leave straight from the competition. I'm going to stay w/ my parents the whole weekend and drive up to see my brother and then drive down to see my grandparents (they live about an hour south of my bro). Riding the train back home on Sunday afternoon.

Loss ment: It was 4 years ago today that we had our chemical pregnancy. Time does heal some but in light of everything that's happened this year, it is a little rough. I know that December is going to be the hardest though since I thought back in April when it happened that I would be pregnant again by then. Guess God had different plans. I won't be pregnant but I'll be at least 20lbs lighter
