Jenni...sounds like you have a busy but fun weekend planned. I remember always thinking "if my cycle would've worked I'd be ____ far along now" and when the month came around that I would've been due it was always harder. You have a good outlook and positive attitude though. I wish we knew God's plan. It would explain a lot but then we wouldn't have much faith.

We got the lawn mowed and leaves picked up. I'm frustrated with our neighbor because his dog poops in our yard and he doesn't pick it up and I stepped in it today and got it on my jeans and stepped in it the other day. I'd really like to say something (or have DH) but I don't want to cause problems since they are our neighbors. Neighbors can be very sensitive subjects, kind of like your problems with your's Jenni. It's against city code to not pick up your dog's poop so technically they can get in trouble by the cops but if we call the cops then they'll know it's us.

The other leaders and all the girls were dressed up.

Jenni - hugs, it is hard to think about the time that your baby would have been born. With Bailey it is also hard when I think of the BFP date - it was the anniversary of my dad's death, something good to take away from that loss... If you need to talk we are here for you.

Interviews are this afternoon and then tomorrow afternoon. I had the calls back to back, not even 5 minutes between calls My contract with the government has been extended another month so I keep my drug benefits, which means my meds for my IUI are 100% covered

I was dreading the interview today but it turned out awesome! Sean and I could commute together. I would be working 8-5, m-f. And it would be a similar position to the one I am interviewing for tomorrow, but I would be working more on my own then on a large team. I have a second interview on Friday, the manager they wanted me to see was not available with it being month-end.

I am so happy that we will get the meds 100% covered, as the one I would be paying about $125/day for Even with Sean's coverage we only would pay 80% of that but 100% is so much better.

Glad you had a good interview, Margaret. Sounds like this job would work out really well. Would you rather work on your own or with a team? Good luck today!

I'm going to go to Target and see if they have Halloween stuff clearanced. That way I can get cups and plates for our party. I'm too cheap to have paid full price for it last week when I saw it. DH leaves this afternoon for a conference. He'll be back tomorrow night. We have tickets to go see "South Pacific" at the local high school tomorrow night.

Congrats on the interviews! Keep us posted.

Have fun at Target Meg. Since they built one literally down the street from us, I find myself going more than I should - just to look of course

How was everyone's night? Mine was pretty good. Handed out candy while DH went to our weekly trivia at a local pub. My new blog friend and her husband came by (they live near us). Then met DH at the pub for the last half of trivia. All in all not too shabby. It wasa little disappointed to hear all the neighborhood families get together and laughing and walking together but hey, someone has to stay home and hand out candy right? And I know that I'll be joining them soon enough.

I can't wait until Target gets here, just a few more months. All around the store they are renovating that are signs saying "Target Loves Canada" using symbols. The one closest to us is about 10 blocks away and at the mall we are at all the time - it has the closest library to us.

Meg, I do the same. Either get stuff like that at the dollar store or wait until after the holiday and stock up for next year.

Jenni - sounds like you had a good night. We had about 25 kids, it was so cold. We live in a townhouse complex and there are tons of kids around but it was -10C before adding in the windchill! DH said a lot of people were at the mall for their Halloween activities.

We have to go to another town 25 miles away to get a Target, Wal-mart, mall or any other good stores. We have two grocery stores and a soon to be Shop-Ko in our town. So when we go to town, we get a lot in one trip. We got some more Halloween decor at Target for 50% off and plates and cups for Saturday. I love the $ Store also!

It was so nice out last night and it is again tonight. Children mentioned...DD1 stayed home and handed out candy while DH and I took the other two girls and their friends around. DH asked DD is she wanted him to stay home with her and she said she wanted to do it herself. I think it kind of made him feel bad that she wanted to do it alone. I was proud of her for wanting to do it herself though. After spending some time in our neighborhood we went to visit the girls' great-grandma in the nursing home.

I'm starting to get stressed for the party. I do this to myself every year. I didn't do much cleaning throughout the week because it'd just get dusty and dirty again so I'd do it all over anyways. I feel like time is running out but I have to remind myself I have two days. Tomorrow I'm going to dust and I've already got some of it done tonight. A few days before I entertain I start to give myself a gut-ache and it's coming right now so I need to tell myself to chill out. DH's parents are coming tomorrow so I want to have most of what I want done tomorrow done before they get here. DH left around 3pm to head to his conference and will be home tomorrow night.

I'm sorry you are stressed Meg. You can do it! I believe in you
Hope everyone is well. Down another pound. Total of 9lbs since last Monday. I'm going to treat myself to Taylor Swift's new CD in one more pound. Not sure if y'all remember but I'm an age-inappropriate big fan of hers (DH is too but he would never admit it )

    Have a good weekend!

Jenni...you are doing so great! You deserve that new CD. I heard that her CD was the biggest selling album since an album of Eminem's I don't know how many years ago. She's much better than him.

My younger sister and her boyfriend FINALLY made it home from Virginia Beach. Her FB status says "five states, four flights, three time zones and two days later than planned, we are finally home." They were supposed to fly home Tuesday but their flight was cancelled d/t the hurricane. Then my older sister and her husband were planning on going to Colorado so see her inlaws for the weekend. When my sister went to fill up her vehicle before leaving she found a Snickers bar and ink pen shoved in her gas tank. My parents ended up taking their car to them so they could drive it out there. In the meantime they found someone to fix it and was happy to find out that it didn't do any damage to the engine or anything. So they took off late last night to drive through the night. I just got a call from my mom saying that they still aren't there yet. My sister was driving down the Interstate in Nebraska going 77mph and hit a deer. Their vehicle isn't driveable. They are 2 1/2 hrs from their in -laws so they are picking them up but now they have to figure out the logistics to getting home and getting their vehicle fixed. I'm beginning to think they shouldn't have gone on this trip. Hope this is it for bad things for them. It seems things like this always happen to them.

I always get so stressed in the days to leading up to entertaining lots of ppl but then when ppl start showing up I'm fine. I did this last Spring when we hosted a big party except it was a lot worse. I couldn't figure out why it felt like my throat was closing up all the time after I ate. During the dinner party it went away and never happened again. It was all anxiety. I think I need some Ativan for times like these.
