Margaret...sorry you guys are sick. Hopefully you feel better soon.

Our party went well. We had 40 ppl at our house. People brought a good variety of yummy food. DH's dad provided entertainment for all the kids. It's fun to get together with adults and talk. This morning we went out to brunch with DH's parents then they took off to go to Kansas City to see DH's brother. This afternoon we put all the party stuff away and took down the Halloween decor and put up the rest of the fall/Thanksgiving decor. Now I'm ready for a little snow since it's getting cooler and I have Thanksgiving stuff out. Plus, it getting dark so early since daylight savings makes it feel more like snow weather.

Tomorrow I'm going to go to a Pampered Chef party at noon. I think I'm going to buy an apple peeler/corer/slicer for my mom and older sister. I'm debating on if I should get one for my younger sis. I'm not sure if she'll use it much now, but might in the future.

DH was Sam Adams and I was St. Pauli Girl...

I've spent the last 4 hours making a Shutterfly book of our Florida trip from last year. It's a free one so I want to get it done. These books are so addictive and are not good for an OCD person like me. We've made quite a few of them from trips we've taken. I don't scrapbook so this is a good and easy way to remember things.

hmmm...let's see. Some ornaments, Christmas card holders, knitted wash cloths, maybe some other knitted stuff, peppermint sugar scrub, tropical bath salt, reindeer fudge, lemon tarts, butter tarts, calming jars, Christmas gift tags, rice bags for heating/freezing, eggnog cookies and maybe some other stuff... I will post pictures later. Most of the stuff I found on pinterest.

I need to get making books. I have none of any of our trips to visit my family, don't even have a baby book made. I have tried to scrapbook but I just can't get it how I want things. I have thought about digital scrapbooking but I figure the ones I make could be similar to digital scrapbooks...

Wow you are going to be busy Margaret. You are making tons of stuff. I've never been motivated to scrapbook even though I have all the stuff here since DH's first wife did a little bit of it. Children mentioned...She never made baby books so it was my goal to get the girls caught up to where they are now and add a few pages every year. That hasn't happened...I've given up. I think I'm just going to do a Shutterfly type book when they graduate. You can end up spending lots of money on scrapbooking and I don't think I'd ever be happy with it. When I go to Hobby Lobby and walk through the scrapbooking aisles I get overwhelmed. I just seems like too much work to me.

I really need to get back on a regular workout routine again. I've really been slacking off since I'm not training for any 5K's and it's getting cooler outside. I way overindulged in food this weekend so I have to make myself go to yoga tomorrow no matter how tired I am in the morning. I also need to get back to Zumba but it's been so long since I've gone that I'll be completely lost and feel like an idiot.

We do the shutterfly thing at our house since I can be a little busy from time-to-time. My MIL is making a really nice scrapbook for Luke, so this can be outsourced in our family. I actually try to do at least a book per year. It doesn't take me too long and I take really nice pictures with our SLR. I am glad that they are going to good use.

I have an SLR that I need to learn to use better. I bought a photography book someone on here suggested a long time ago but I have yet to take the time and read through it. I think I'd use it more if I had smaller kids. We take a lot of our pics with our iPhone. I love that Shutterfly now has an app so it makes it super easy to upload them. We take our point and shoot on vacations to take pics with. We end up getting all our pics printed off of shutterfly so we have all the prints.

I thought it'd be easier to get up in the morning since it'd be lighter because of the time change. Nope, still just as hard. It doesn't help that it's cloudy and rainy today.

(preg/baby ment) While I was pregnant with Robbie my one friend bought me a ton of baby scrap-booking stuff. I just could not get into to it so I finally gave everything to a friend who had her 6th baby and 1st boy in 13 years. She loved getting everything, she has mad a scrap book for all the kids - I have no idea when she gets the time!

I have been working on the craft stuff for months. A lot of the stuff is quick to make. The one ornament that is really cute is a clear ornament that you put mini marshmallows in and then draw a snowman face on it. Totally cute and I made a dozen in about 20 minutes. The baking stuff will all go quickly and some of the stuff a friend is making - joint venture, so it is not too bad.

The good thing about a small family is that when something goes through us it is quick. Both boys home from school/work today. Pretty sure we all have the flu.

If I do not have a job by Friday I have yet another job interview with a different bank.
