Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. It's been kind of quiet around here lately.

Hey meg...i am here!! How are you? I am just trying to get back into the swing of things. I have my appt on 1/27 to discuss my DE cycle schedule. I am assuming it would be like a FET, but I am not sure. I am hoping I don't have to do BCP first...if I do I won't be able to do my cycle until March.

I will keep you posted...hope you are ok!!

I hope you can get your cycle started ASAP. I'm not sure about the BCP. Looking forward to following your cycle!

I'm doing good. Same 'ol same 'ol around here for me.

Good luck with the appt on the 27th! I hope that you can go ahead and get started right away.

I'm doing well. My meds came on Saturday so I'm 4 days into my injections. We are tentatively looking at the first full week of Feb fo my FET (that's just 2 weeks away!!!). I'm getting pretty excited but also pretty nervous. I'm incredibly thankful that the path report came back negative but at the same time, that more than likely means that the previous cycle was an embryo issue and here we are about to put the same quality (if not worse) back in this time KWIM? BUT I do know that it's all a numbers thing anyway and that anything can happen. Not letting it get to me, just something to remind myself of so that I can keep perspective. Other than that, things are good. DH is traveling 3 out of the next 4 weeks including transfer week but I'm so proud of how hard he works for our family. Hope that everyone else is doing well! Keep us posted!!

Jenni...I know what you mean with the path report coming back negative. You don't want there to be anything abnormal but if it were abnormal then at least you'd have an answer as to why you can't get pregnant. How do you handle DH being away so much? I think I'd go crazy. Does he long periods of time at home after he's traveled so much?

Jenni~ All the best with this cycle! I have a friend who transferred the last of her frozen embryos and they were given a very very small chance of success... she now has a 4 month old little girl! Never give up hope hun! You never know what the future holds. *Hugs*

Hi everyone! I am awaiting blood test results for DH and the arrival of my pharmacy to begin the cycle. The drugs were ordered last week and I feel like it's taking forever! I may have to push back the start date by a week at this rate because I am bringing my mom in from out of town to help out and she has a conflict right about when I would need her. I am definitely getting impatient to start.

I spoke with the doctor and he said he is starting me on a bit of a higher dose than normal for my age because of my AMH level, but he said he thinks I'll respond okay. I hope he's right. I guess we won't know until we actually try!

Meg, glad you are doing well, and thanks for starting this! Good luck to jenni and reb! and hi dreamchaser! I'll keep checking for updates!

dreamchaser...glad to see you around here!

Kara...I think it is appropriate for your doc to start you on higher doses of stims. He can always back down on them if you are responding well. With my first cycle (and 2nd actually) I was on a low dose. My RE said I was on the max amount. I never believed. When I did my 3rd cycle with a different clinic he started me out much higher and lowered the dose. My first RE never did any testing on me so he had no clue what my FSH, E2, etc was before starting to cycle. He just jumped to the conclusion that it was MFI since my DH did have antisperm antibodies from his vasectomy reversal. After my IVF cycles we figured out it was a mix of both factors. That is one of many reasons why we changed RE clinics. Good luck with your cycle.

I'd like to say that I handle it pretty well but in all honesty, I really don't. But there's not much I can do about it. We knew when he accepted the promotion that it would involve a lot of traveling. I get pretty scared at night but I think that we might try to swing an alarm system here soon (especially WHEN I get pregnant). His family has been incredible too. MIL calls every day to check on me and I usually end up going down there to spend the night at least once. I've actually spent so much time there over the last 6 months with DH being away that they call it the guestroom "Jenni's room" ROFL
He is going to be away 3 out of the next 4 weeks then back for a few weeks then gone for a week then back until the end of March. That might also be the end of this travels until May sometime. He works for a company that does IT for the railroad (freight not 'people train' aka Amtrak) so they have 'clients' all over the country. This new position has him working with a lot of government agencies - Border and Customs, FAA, Dept of Homeland Security, etc so he has to go to different committee meetings all over the country (and sometimes Canada). He loves it and in my humble opinion is pretty good at it (but I think he can do anything) so it's worth it.

Kara - good luck with everything. Someone on here told me before my first cycle that the min the meds arrive, it's like everything goes into super sonic speed. So true! I hope that schedules can get lined up for you.
