Cycle length

Ladies, after IVF, did your cycle return as normal or were you 'out of whack'?

Since we knew there would be no transfer soon after the ER I had only taken progesterone for at most two days. Af came 10 days after ER.
After my superov's my cycle was pretty normal. I'm sure I should suspect that my body went thru alot with the supression etc.

What was your experience?

My cycles usually returned back to normal right away. My first cycle there was no transfer since our embies arrested so I had taken PIO for only 5 days. I remember thinking I could tell is was Oing about 14 days later so took a ovulation test and I was. I remembered doing the happy dance because something was actually normal. I also think after our last cycle that failed it returned to normal soon after.

Thanks for your reply Meg. Hmmmm,

well i'm 5 days late. Of course this gets me hopeful despite the fact that there is no hope for me to be pregnant. Just makes me keep thinking about how in the world can I 'walk away from my dreams', regardless on what is 'best'.

hey deborah -
I got my period about 5 days after my beta test......
This period is just spotting....like i don't have to wear a panty liner, it only is there when i wipe.....but i'm also on lurpon and was on the pill....so i don't know if it'll just be light like this or what....

I've already had af after my ivf, it was 10 days after er. This second af is what i'm late for. I don't think i've ovulated yet, or it just happened in the past few days since I have no pms, no big bb's or progesterone'ish symptoms.
