    Default Cysts-Again

So I had my ultrasound today. I have two large cysts on each ovary. So, no clomid for me this cycle. This was disappointing. They said we could still have timed intercourse and it's possible to still get pregnant, but I know how that goes. The cysts could rupture at any time, but if they aren't gone by the time I start my cycle next month the nurse said they will go away with AF. Then we can try clomid again. I'm scared that I'm just more prone to cysts and every time I go on clomid I will continue to get them. In the mean time I am in extreme pain. I had to take a vicoden after getting home because the ultrasound hurt so bad. Ick...and a 14 hour car ride while on my period is not appealing....

That stinks. I hope you are able to get some relief from the pain. Have a safe trip!

I'm sorry that you have cysts. That happened to me after our IUIs a few times as well . Has you RE discussed the possibility of draining them? It's no walk in the park but it might help with the pain. Good luck! Hope you are able to get some relief!

Trip was so so. Drive was great. Got to spend a lot of quality time with DH. We spent the holiday with in-laws and needless to say MIL and I don't always get along. SIL just had a baby which added to the trauma...hehe. I was holding my niece and MIL comes in and says "Doesn't that make you want to have another one?" Really? Come on lady...I told you 2 days ago what was going on...you know I want to have another one you silly stupid witch...hehe. So it was comments like that all weekend. Had a pretty painful period, but other than that no cyst pain so far.

Sorry you had a not so fun trip. Sounds like it would've been more fun had MIL been nicer. I can't believe she said that to you after you had told her what you were going through. That's just rude and unthoughtful! What was your response to her?

    Steph-
I guess people are just on auto-pilot to bug you about a baby. I still get that even when the person knows everything that is going on. So frustrating and feels so unthoughtful.

I really didn't get to respond because my SIL chimed in and was like "Mom, that was rude." It was nice of her to stick up for me. MIL was like "I didn't mean it that way." Oh well....
