Due Date Calculation??

OK, I forgot how we do this for IVF...Do I go back to lmp? retrieval? transfer?

Would you count 2wks pg at retrieval - so a 5dt - already 19days? etc, etc.?

Here's a pretty cool website. It gives EDD with single vs multiples, when implantation should occur, trimesters etc... All you do is put in ER date.

Of course, if you're doing a FET, I think it's a little weirder, especially for the non-IVF practitioners you come in contact with. My embie was frozen on day 6, but for some reason I think the REs called it a day 5 transfer, so I was a bit confused for a while. Oh, well. They call it an "E" DD for a reason, right? Smile

Oh that's right. I forgot about the FET. I looked on the site that I posted and there is a drop down window at the top of the page under "Calculators" and you can pick fresh IVF, Day3 FET or Day5 FET. Hope that helps!

I like that site too, now that I have a reason to read more posts but it sure is hard for me to get used to a different site than this one Lol

Feels like i'm playing 'catch up' jumping into the threads KWIM?

I sure like the calculators, oh and there is that protocol tracking sheet to see how others responded etc. Thats cool too.

I used the calculator using retrieval day as ovulation day. With the FET I would count backwards...day of transfer minus 5 days should give you the ovulation day.

Oh, very cool -- I didn't know you could choose a calculator for a FET. And look, it gave the same due date that my RE gave me, but the OBs at the hospital couldn't for the life of them understand (though being one day off doesn't seem to me to be a big deal). Thanks!
