Had my beta today

It was a BFN! I expected it as my hpts were all coming back negative but I was still holding out some hope of a miracle! I am so down right now. We go to see the RE Wednesday morning to discuss options. We have 3 frozen embryos left. Last time they suggested getting a carrier. That is an option I am seriously looking into this time. After 5 tries, it seems as though my body just doesn't have the ability to carry a baby. It's heartbreaking that I will never be able to experience the joy of pregnancy. That being said, has anyone gone the route of a surrogate in the past? Any tips, information, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

:bigarmhug: I am so so sorry. I have no experience with a carrier. I hope if you go this route that this will be what gives you success. I completely understand your disappointment. You have the right to feel down right now. Take time for yourself to grieve and heal!! :bigarmhug:

I'm sorry.

I don't have any experience with a surrogate. Do you want to use someone you know or go with an agency to find one?

Thank you for all the support and hugs. Much appreciated. Biggrin We plan on using a carrier that we do not know. Met with the RE this morning and were given the name of an attorney who handles surrogate services. She is in Maryland. We live in Pennsylvania so not too far away! This all seems so overwhelming at the moment but I hope it gets better as we go along!

I glad you had a good meeting with your RE and know what the next steps are. I'm sure everything is overwhelming right now. Hopefully as you take time and process the info, it will get easier. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I am a 2X surrogate! I am currently pg with boy/girl twins. If you find the right surrogate out there and I'm sure you will. The bond you can form is amazing. My IP's are the best couple I could ask for! I had a baby boy for them in March of 2010. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email at charity@schlattersinc.com
I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
