    Default Introducing myself

Hey Everyone! I'm Marisol, 31 years old and have been TTC for 2.5 years. I had my initial consult on Friday and based on SA's all is pointing to IVF as the first option. DH is doing his 2nd SA tomorrow morning, if that comes back significantly better we will do IUI first.
I'm very excited to finally have some hope in getting pregnant. I'm so ignorant with the whole IVF process, and I'm sure once all bloodwork and SA comes I will meet again with the RE and she will explain it in detail. I had a U/S on Friday and had 9 follicles in the left ovary and about 3 or 4 on the right. I was amazed when I saw that on the screen!

However, my nurse just called me and told me that I wasn't Oing anytime soon, which is surprising. (I'm assuming they are basing this on the BW) The RE will be calling me within the next couple of days to go over everything with me. I'm a little disappointed by that! She suspects I may Oing premature eggs so I hope the BW will shed some light on what's going on with that.

All in all, I have the IVF, if not, IUI to look forward to very soon. So if you don't mind i will be hanging out here. I'm sure once this really starts up I will have a million questions!!

Good luck with the process. IVF has such a higher chance of success than IUI, but it is a stressful process.

Welcome!! I'm glad that you have a plan to move forward now. That always makes things more exciting even though it's a lot to process. Hopefully with IVF you'll be able to get more mature eggs and move on to a healthy pregnancy. Hope your stay here is short and sweet.
