OK, did not feel anything. I was nervous putting the pen together, I think it was more excitement. I was a bit shaky to put in the first needle but I felt nothing so it is all good. DH had to hide out in our bedroom until it was done!

Take it DH doesn't handle needles well. DH doesn't like getting shots but he's ok giving them. When I got my hepatitis A vaccine I made the nurse give it to me instead of DH. Even though he's a physician, he just doesn't do shots enough for me to feel comfortable enough for him to give it to me. But now that I think of it he did give me all my PIO shots and I was good with that.

My husband offered to give me mine, but I was worried he would pass out. I was still a little shaky giving myself my first shots - but seeing as I tried diabetes it was a huge thing for me to do. Made me realize that it is not that big of a deal, especially to do something like that once per day - at least not to me. Now, finger sticks.... that is a whole other story.
Sean is more worried it would hurt me. Find it interesting that You would find it difficult to do. I am still a little shaking until I press the needle in. And finger sticks are a pain! I have been doing them for 11 years and still hate them. My one glycometer allowed me to test on my arm, so much nicer. The nurses in the antinatal ward wanted it for the babies as it took such a tiny drop. Nor sure what you meant by "tried diabetes"
Added on to all the other meds - double ear infection with both ear drums rupturing! My first ear infection was when I was 19 years old, wonder if I am too old for tubes, LOL.

Ouch Margaret!! Hope you can catch a break soon and feel better. Seems like you've been sick a lot lately.

We keep passing the flu back and forthI usually get one really bad ear infection a year, I have too much fluid in my inner ear to begin with and it seems to get infected more easily. I wish I had normal middle ear infections. I think why I have been so sick lately is with the quick travel and the stress.
Going to bed as soon as Sean gets back from the grocery store.
