We had our 9 week ultrasound and last RE appt today. Everything looked good so they officially graduated us from the clinic. I'm going to start seeing a midwife team at a birth center nearby. I posted a picture on the January board.

Congrats on graduating from the clinic!!! YEAH!!! I'm so glad everything is looking good.
Hi Ladies,
I know this thread isn't very active but I wasn't sure where to post- don't feel comfortable posting in general ivf board and have been too scared to join birth board yet (waiting to see heartbeats in next week's u/s).
Today I'm 6 wk 3 day and yesterday morning started the worst sense of nausea ever and it hasnt stopped. Thing is that I am not bomitting at all, but have the feeling that I'm about to every moment. Believe me I am not complaining ok! But I've read that MS can be intensified by multiples. And I couldn't eat more than a bowl of soup and crackers all day yesterday and I worried because my Expecting Twins and Multiples book says I should be gaining wait like a mad woman. I've lost 3 lbs since my first BFP. First because of indigestion and bloating and now because of this.
Anyone out there with some advice on how to manage through this? I feel lucky that I only work part time and have lots of time to rest ect. I really don't know how some of you do it with normal jobs. Kudos!
Thanks :-) xo
:lurk:
Congrats on your BFP!! I love to lurk on the TTC boards because I love seeing the happy stories that come out!
Nausea can def be a sign of a viable pg so hang in there. With all 3 of my pg I was very nauseas but no vomiting. I would lose several pounds before really packing it on! Also for most women (not all though) m/s is usually temporary for the first 12 or so weeks. I know, seems like a long time. Mine also would come and go daily so one day I might feel ok and the next day felt pretty green around the gills, so to speak.
Just eat what you can eat, what tastes good to you. You can get some extra calories from liquids too like juice or sprite. Sometimes liquids are the only thing that will help. If the nausea gets really bad ask for some medication liek zofran.
Hang in there - I'm sure everything will turn out great. GL, I hope you see 2 beautiful heart beats when you have your u/s - I'll be keeping an eye out for you!
Congrats again and I hope you'll be able to eat something yummy today!
Christina- thank you for the advice and encouragement! I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. I'm definitely getting some calories through ginger ale! Today was much better. I'm basically just making myself get up, walk the dog, go about my day ect. I forced down a sandwich at lunch and dinner with lots of crackers in between, plus some delicious pineapple. I just have to figure out how to manage the feeling. Once I get in the groove I'll be better. I am grateful for the ms though, after 5 long years TTC this helped bring my pregnancy to life and to reality. Feeling pregnant, even if that means being sick all day, is the best feeling in the world. :-) xo
bluelotus...so sorry you are feeling sick. I have no words of advice as I've never been through it. Hopefully it will get better after your 2nd trimester if it doesn't get better before then. I'd imagine that symptoms would be twice as much with two babes baking in there. When is your next u/s? I forget.
I can't wait to see how your LO's are doing!!!! Wednesday seems so far away!!!
