This may sound weird, but Christi, I am happy you feel like caca...it is a very good sign for your baby. Keep eating every 2-3 hours, it will get better soon...and then you will freak out b/c you feel better, I promise!! Thinking of you for your u/s tomorrow....sending happy thoughts your way.

    Morning girls!

My symptoms are just like Christi's! I'm just nauseated pretty much all the time, but I don't ever throw up (though I wish I would). I do throw up when I brush my teeth in the mornings, which is really gross. I have TERRIBLE indigestion with everything I eat. I'm not complaining though!!!

I have my first ObGyn appt on Friday, but because of the progesterone study I'm involved with, I won't get released from my RE until June 10th. The appt is for basic bloodwork and u/s. That will be my last appt with him.

Re: gagging while you brush your teeth, someone on the September board a while back discovered that if you use a child's-size toothbrush, it really reduced her gagging while brushing. I never had that problem myself, but give it a try! Sounds awful to have to deal with that every time you brush your teeth!

I posted this on my birth board but figured you all could help me better.
Todays appointment with the OB......She said that she was going to attempt to hear the babies hear on the doppler, but she said that I was early and not to get worried if she could not get it. Well after only a minute or so she got it!!! It was 160!!!! Made me so happy until she said well if we were not able to find it we would have done an U/S and I really wanted to see, but glad she found it on the doppler.

Said my weight was good and so was my blood pressure. He said he would see me back in 2 weeks. Why do I have to go so much???

Great news, Candice! Every 2 weeks is a lot, but do you have a health reason maybe (I can't remember hwy you did IVF). Are you doing the 1st trimester ultrsound and blood screening? Maybe that is why...they (at least my Dr) likes to do it right around 13 weeks, but it can be done I think between 11-14.

Anyone heard from Christi? Wondering how her u/s went yesterday.

I have endometriosis. So no other health problems and I am young and healthy.

My BB said that lots of OBs see the patients every 2-3 weeks in the first trimester so that made me feel better. My OB is extremely proactive. I should have known that I would see him a bunch.

I was wondering about Christi too. She has not posted on the BB.
    Hope everything is ok Christi!

You gals are SO sweet!!!! Unfortunately, I'm super busy at work right now and can't get onto pg.org as much as I'd like. Luckily, Mika emailed me and told me to get my b*tt on here to update you! LOL!

My ultrasound went good yesterday. Baby A is still going strong. Good heartbeat (180bpm - too fast?) and now measures ahead of schedule by 3 days. I asked the doc if that was ok and he said he is measuring "just shadows of shadows" on the u/s so everything is just an estimate. Baby B has gotten a little smaller and still has no heartbeat.

One weird thing - he said there is a "loop of bowel" down across the front of my uterus right in front of Baby A, which made it hard for him to measure the CRL and the heartrate. It was there last week too. I asked the doc how it got there, or if I can do some exercise or stretch or something to move it, but he said no. Has anyone ever had that problem?

My blood pressure was fine (112/68 ), but I've lost a pound. Doc asked how I was feeling and DH jumped in, pratically yelling "SHE'S MISERABLE!!!" So the doc gave me some medicine for the nausea. I haven't tried it yet, but it's nice to know I have it if the nausea gets really bad.

One more u/s with the RE next Friday and then I'm released to my OBGYN. That will be nice because we've had two babies make it past 8w4d, so I want to make sure I pass all my m/c milestones before I go to the OB.

I truly appreciate everyone's support on here!!!! Thank you so much!!

    That is great news Christi!
180 is great!! I read that anywhere from 120-200 is normal. If the baby is awake and moving around it is faster.
