    Default 5-6 WEEKS

i HAVE JUST ENTERED MY 6TH WEEK OF PREGNANCY...WELL ACTUALLY I AM HOPING IT IS PREGNANCY SINCE I HAVE DONE 2 TESTS (BOTH POSITIVE), MY PERIOD IS MISSING FOR 2 WEEKS...THE ONLY THING IS THAT I WENT TO A DOCTOR LAST WEEK (MY 5TH WEEK) AND SHE COULD NOT CONFIRM THAT I AM PREGNANT AS SHE SAID SHE COULD ONLY SEE A DOT AND NOTHING MORE. I AM AWARE THAT NOTHING MORE CAN BE SEEN IN THE 5 WEEK, BUT I AM THINKING COULD THE DOT BE ANYTHING ELSE?

Hey girls. How thick was your lining at time of transfer??? I 'think' my lining is not the best in thickness and wonder if that will be an issue. The Re said I have the 'triple stripe' but from what i've read here its thin, around a 7. I have antiphospholipid and maybe the asprin that i'm taking now will help. what do you think?

Your lining should thicken as you stim. On my baseline mine was a 6 or 7. My last appt before ER it was a 14, so yours should thicken up. What day of your cycle are you right now?

Good news. I checked my journal and my last inject/iui was a lining of 11 on the day before trigger. Not sure if thats 'good news' but alot better than 7 right? My second inject/iui I had a lining of 8.7

    Hi Deborah,

I am not sure of the number, but from what I read on the internet, the triple stripe is what they need.

    Good luck!!

Hi Deb - Sorry for posting so late! My lining was only 5-6 when I did my donor cycle. I didn't have a triple stripe, either. And I got twinkies!

Christi, I was just reading your siggy and I didn't realize you've had so many losses. I'm so sorry.

Did they every find out what was causing? Hope you don't mind me asking. I think there is something with my lining, even though it might get "thick" enough I think there is a problem there. There must be some reason.

Maybe every egg I have is defective, never thought about that.

Hi Deborah - They never found out for sure what was wrong. The theory is that my eggs were bad/old/deformed/etc. On this last cycle, we used donor eggs, and everything looks good so far. So, the bad egg theory seems to be a pretty good one at this point.

At one point, my RE suspected there might be something wrong with my lining. We were going to do an endometrial biopsy, but for some reason, never did. My lining was thinnish for my donor cycle, but doc seemed ok with it. I was putting the estradiol in my hoo-ha rather than taking it orally. I continued doing that until just a couple weeks ago. So maybe you can ask your doc about taking the estrogen vaginally and/or an endometrial biopsy?

I've heard the estradial vaginally is shown to be very effective. For our donor embryo cycle they were having me do mine vaginally. In the ultrasound before the cnxl transfer he noted the triple stripe.
