    Default Hi Ladies!

It's been so nice to pop in here from time to time and see how great you are all doing. I'm so so happy for each of you.

I'm sooo early in this first trimester I hesitate to even post here or add a pg ticker to my siggy. Today is 4wks 3days and all the nausea I had has disappeared. Sooo weird - maybe it was my body's reaction to the initial hcg in my system? I don't want to be sick, but just find it weird. I also had cramping and spotting and passed several clots (I know that's not a good sign) from Friday through Sunday and that's also gone now. Maybe more than one of the four snopeas implanted and I lost one over the weekend or lost both. I felt like such crap, too - now I feel like a million bucks. I hate not knowing what's going on in there. I won't get another beta until Monday (with an u/s) - that will be 5wks2days - how can they not realize how hard that is to get one beta and then have to wait a whole week before any other news?! Sorry, I had to get that out. Thanks for listening.

YAY!!!! I'm so happy you're posting here!!!

I had nausea "flashes" very early (b/w 4 & 5 weeks), and then they went away for like two weeks, and then m/s hit with a vengeance at about week 7. With your beta, I wouldn't be surprised if you have twinkies in there again!

Sorry about waiting for your next beta and first u/s... IVF is such a waiting process to begin with - it sucks to wait some more after you get the BFP!

Waiting for those betas is definitely hard! I would just try to put it out of my mind and think about other things. I know; easier said than done. I really like checking out the movies on this website to figure out what's going on in there:

I hope everyone else is doing well. I feel guilty for not keeping up with everyone else very well.

This last week has been incredibly tough for me. I bled Tuesday night before my u/s on the 14th. Turned out all was fine. Heartbeats 133 and 139. Dr said this bleeding can be normal for twins.

Saturday I bled a LOT and from about 11:30am-2am. Lots of pain too. Bled so much I was convinced I'd miscarried. Called the Dr an had an emergency u/s scheduled for Sun morning. Went in, gave my name, waited TWO hours. We kept checking with the front desk and they'd say "your name will be called in a few minutes" and it never was. Finally I just started crying. A nurse came to the rescue. Dr was soooo apologetic. Complete mess up by the front desk. Anyway, I settled down once they put me in an exam room. Dr came in and started the u/s. When I saw the babies on the screen I started bawling again! I couldn't believe it! They are fine. Heartbeats 149 and 150.

    Another u/s on Friday.

Thanks for the great advice on morning sickness, too; it's a big help.

Congrats Cindy!!!! I was so happy to read your good news!! That is a long wait for the beta - I feel for you!

JooJooBee, I've been away and haven't yet even congratulated you on the twins! WOW!!! TWINS! That is so exciting. I'm sorry about the bleeding scare - that is awful. I experienced that with my one successful pregnancy and it was agonizing waiting to see if everything was OK. But sounds like all is looking great for you.

AFM - I'm 10 weeks now, so I'm happy to be in double digits. I get my nuchal translucency a week from Tues, so I hope that will provide me reassurance. I still feel so weird about this pregnancy because I pretty much feel fine.

I was hiding the pregnancy from my 3 year old, but would you believe that she was poking at my belly and called me out on it? She said directly, "I think you have a baby in your belly - do you?" Caught me very off guard! I guess she's way more perceptive than I gave her credit for!

So cute, Michelle! That is great you feel good! Your 12-week scan will make you feel better. Sad that you almost WANT to be sick, huh??

Cindy, I'm so happy you're posting here! I remember being a nut case waiting for the repeat betas every other day...I can't imagine waiting as long as you are!

Joojoobee, glad the babies are doing well. Hope today's ultrasound went well.

KMichelle, how cute your DD!!! I know exactly how you feel waiting for any pg symptom to show up. I didn't feel pg at all until around 15 weeks which is when I started feeling some movement.

Michelle - That is so amazing that your 3 yr old knew! I swear every time I've been pg my female furbaby is much more affectionate with me - like she knows something.

Yes, Christy you were right - twins. Of course, today at 5wk2days was too soon to see much but they were two very nice gestational sacs. Maybe next Monday we'll see heartbeats?? I think beta doubling time is good from 653 (11dpt) to 7177 (18dpt) but on one website with a doubling calculator said it was slow? I'm choosing to ignore that one and listen to the other ones.
