Both babies sound very healthy!!! Congratulations!
My dad, both of my grandmothers and my grandfather all passed away during our five years of TTC, so I KNOW they were watching down on us this whole time! So, I would like to think that your MIL was watching over you, DH and your little totsicles this cycle too.![]()
Hello all. Not too much to report here. Nausea is in full swing now. Only thrown up a couple of times but just low-moderate nausea pretty much all the time, worse in the evenings. Worse than that, is the exhaustion. Like nothing I can even describe. Last night, I couldn't even stay awake until 9.![]()
I have my first OB appt with the high risk Dr. in 2 weeks. At that point, I'll decide if we want to stay with the high risk OB or switch to a regular one. I need to discuss his thoughts on VBAC b/c no way in hell do I want another C/S if I can avoid it.![]()
Hey Kim-sorry about the m/s. All for a good cause, right. GL at your OB apptmt!
Congrats, Kim! I hope your m/s gets better soon! We took G to Florida for spring break at 7+ weeks....it was BRUTAL! The sickest I felt and trying to chase a crabby 3-yr old...not a fun trip! Hope you get some relief soon (then you will worry why you feel so good!).
IVF #1: July-2006: Sweet baby boy, G, born April 2007 (3dt of 2)
FET #1 (from IVF #3): Sweet baby boy, N, born November 2010 (3dt of 2)
Went to our first OB appointment yesterday after work. I was pleasantly surprised to find the doctor my RE referred me to was a woman. I don't know why, but I just assumed it was a male. Anyway, LOVE HER!! She was so calm and relaxed - I never felt rushed. She asked me what my concerns were, etc, etc. We did an u/s and everyone looked fantastic. Baby A was squirming around like he had ants in his pants. I couldn't believe how active this early on. She said that was really good. Both measuring exactly the same and right on schedule again. HBs looks good. We scheduled our Ultrascreen for 2 wks, I will be just shy of 12wks...I wasn't feeling nervous about the results before but now I am. I will be doing a lot of praying between now and then.
We are not going to wait much longer to tell our families - we can't contain ourselves. I hope the excitement of sharing the news keeps my mind from wondering to worrying places.
Physically, I've been feeling great - just stretching pains. The queasiness has lessened and I even had a couple days with barely any to speak of. The horrible sinus headaches haven't come back in the last week and a half and I seem to have more energy this week (could be just excitement). Gained one pound and hoping I can keep it at a minimum until the 2nd tri. Hope to share some new pics with you after the next apptment - this wks were a bit blurry due to the older machine she used.
CINDY!!! That is so exciting! I can't believe you are almost 10 weeks already. That warms my heart.
Sounds like your symptoms aren't too bad either. I heard that m/s was worse with twins, but I'm glad to hear you're not feeling it. I'm keeping you and your beans in my T&Ps for the results of the screen.![]()
Cindy, that sounds like the best appointment ever!!! I'm so happy everything and everyone is doing well. I also expected to have a lot of pg symptoms because of the twins, and I barely had any, which made me worry a lot more.
When's your EDD so I can stalk you and your progress?
Christy - Thanks! T&P always welcomeI can't believe tomorrow is 10 wks either! Took my first belly shot this am.
Dani - EDD is 3/26! (Which happens to be my best friend's Bday, who oddly enough came with me to the transfer for this pg!)
Cindy, I'm so excited that things are going so well for you! Hope things continue to be very uneventful.
Not much for me. We have Dr appt on Friday at 10 weeks and if everything looks good, I will start telling a few people.
Question for 2nd timers...when did your belly start expanding? I knew it would be earlier but I just didn't expect it quite this early! Not that I mind, it's reassuring but I am just a little surprised. M/s is still there but seems to be pretty well controlled b/c they have me combining unisom at night and B6 during the day.
